Kibler will begin his first year as the head coach of Keystone College head mens and womens cross country and track & field in the 2016-17 academic year after being tabbed to lead the programs effective July 15, 2016. Kibler, who also serves as Keystone's strength and conditioning coordinator, took over at the helm of Keystones programs after spending four seasons as the associate head cross country/track & field coach at Fitchburg State University before serving as a volunteer assistant coach at Wake Forest University this past spring working with the Demon Deacons track & field and cross country teams. Kibler also was an adjunct professor at Fitchburg State and has also worked as a strength and conditioning coach. Kibler was the association head cross country and track & field coach at Fitchburg State from August 2012 through this past January. During his time with the Falcons, Kibler was instrumental in the Falcons recruiting efforts while helping to attract student-athletes from across the northeast to join the program. Additionally, Kibler developed personalized training programs for each athlete, led practice sessions, and helped oversee the academic success of the teams student-athletes. Kibler also spent the past year and a half as an adjunct exercise and sports science professor at Fitchburg State. In January, Kibler became a volunteer assistant coach at Division I Wake Forest where he helped lead day-to-day practices for runners and assisted in post-workout training to reduce injuries. Kibler also played a vital part in the Demon Deacons recruiting efforts which attracted student-athletes from all part of the United States as well as internationally while also helping oversee the academic success of the teams student-athletes. In addition to his collegiate coaching roles, Kibler spent two years as a strength and conditioning coach at Power Source Training Center in Leominster, Massachusetts where he supervised athletes in their workouts and developed individualized training cycles and plans. Kibler completed an internship in 2012 as a strength and conditioning coach at the College of the Holy Cross where he led student-athletes through daily workout programs and provided instruction for exercises in workout program and went on to serve as an athletic communications coordinator intern at American International College in 2014, assisting in game-day preparation, in-game statistics, writing game release, and updating the athletics website for the Yellow Jackets. A four-year standout runner for Fitchburg States cross country and track and field teams, Kibler earned All-American status while winning seven individual conference titles, setting seven school records during his career. He was the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) champion in five different events: 1500 meter run, mile run, 3000 meter run, 5000 meter run, and 10,000 meter run while setting school records for the Falcons in the 1500 meter run, mile run, 2 mile run, 3000 meter run, 5000 meter run, distance medley relay, and the 4x800 meter relay both indoors and outdoors. Kibler was an NCAA Division III All-American honoree in the Mile in 2014 and went on to win the Paul K. Waring 38 Athlete of the Year Award later that spring. He was named the MASCAC Male Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2012 while also collecting the Fitchburg State University Athletic Leadership Award and the Leadership Award for Excellence in Exercise and Sports Science that same year. Kibler, who was a two-year captain of both the Falcons cross country and track & field teams, was named to the MASCAC All-Academic Team and the Fitchburg State Athlete Academic Honor Roll all four years he competed and was a two-year member of Fitchburg States Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Kibler is a member of USA Track and Field New England Chapter, The Greater Boston Track Club, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the American College of Sports Medicine New England Chapter. Kibler graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a specialization in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Fitchburg State in 2012 before earning his M.BA. in Management in 2015, also from Fitchburg State.
