Under her tutelage, Jill Davis was named A-10 Women's Lacrosse Student-Athlete of the Year, Megan Corliss became the first Explorer to earn the A-10 Defensive Player of the Year award and Lauren McDermott was recognized as the A-10 Rookie of the Year. In her first season with the Explorers, Taglianetti Bossell quadrupled the team's wins and led the squad to its first-ever win over cross-town rival Temple University. Taglianetti Bossell comes to La Salle by way of her most recent position held at Notre Dame College (OH). She was hired as the first women's lacrosse coach in college history and helped build and maintain the program since its inception in 2005. Notre Dame ranked in the top ten nationally in several statistical categories and did not lose a home game in 2008. Prior to her position at Notre Dame, Taglianetti Bossell was the interim head field hockey coach and assistant lacrosse coach at Haverford College for two seasons. A 2002 graduate of The Ohio State University, Taglianetti Bossell had a successful playing career as a two-sport student-athlete, excelling on and off the field. She was a member of a nationally-ranked field hockey and lacrosse program, serving as a team captain for lacrosse her senior season. The scholarship student-athlete was also a scholar athlete award-winner for her academic achievements. Prior to her collegiate career, she was a two-sport athlete at Haverford High School where she earned All-Tri-County, All-County and All-League honors as a field hockey player. Taglianetti Bossell has been on staff at dozens of camps across the country including programs at the University of Pennsylvania, University of Notre Dame, The Ohio State University, Maximum Exposure at Loyola University and many others. She will continue to be involved in the development of lacrosse on a national level.
