Le Moyne College Women's Golf

Reidy. Being a member of the team in the early years of this program, watching it grow and now getting the chance to be a part of its continuing success is a dream come true!   As a department, we are excited to have Coach Reidy as part of our athletic family and have her lead our women's golf program, said Senior Associate Director of Athletics Tim Fenton. From her background, passion and vision for our women's golf program, we are looking forward to Coach Reidy continuing to build upon and enhance the strong foundation that Coach Serling has created. My plan is to continue to build a strong, competitive program with realistic short-term goals for each player and the team as a whole, added Reidy. Breaking things into small goals will lead to the ultimate goal of elevating this program to the NCAA recognition that other Le Moyne athletic programs have been able to achieve. After joining the team for the Spring season as a junior, Reidy led the Dolphins in scoring average. She placed in the top-four at two of the teams four events, including a first-place finish in a dual match against Elmira, with her score being the second-best total in the programs history at the time. As a senior captain, she led the Dolphins in scoring average again. She finished in the top-eight at three of nine events, including a pair of top-two finishes. She tied the programs single-round record at the Kutztown Spring Invitational on March 31, 2012. She then tied for medalist honors at the Le Moyne Spring Invitational. She was team MVP both years, as well as a Le Moyne College Scholar-Athlete both years. A 2012 graduate of Le Moyne, Reidy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Human Services, while having a minor in Philosophy. A Deans List member during her time at Le Moyne, she was a member of Alpha Kappa Delta, the National Honor Society in Sociology; Alpha Sigma Nu, the National Jesuit Honor Society; Phi Sigma Tau, the National Honor Society in Philosophy; and Pi Gamma Mu, the International Honor Society of Social Sciences. Since graduating, Reidy has worked at Hills, Farnham and Hills Insurance as a Licensed Agent and Customer Service Representative and Baker Real Estate as a Licensed Agent. Additionally, she has served as the modified girls basketball coach at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church for five years.  Kathleen Reidy '12
