Byler's first season at the Valley was a success as she turned around both the men's and women's programs, with the men finishing fifth and the women fourth at the outdoor MAC Championships, the best showing since 2000 for both. In addition to team achievements, LVC had the MAC Outdoor Field Co-Athlete of the Year in Zach Bleiler and the MAC indoor and outdoor Rookie of the Year in Walker. LVC qualified its most athletes to MACs and ECAC Championships in over a decade.
