Mathews enters her third season on the Lehigh coaching staff in 2016, serving as graduate assistant during the 2015 season after being the volunteer assistant coach in 2014. A former standout in the cage at Monmouth University, Mathews works with the Mountain Hawks goalies. Mathews was highly successful on the field and already has strong experiences as a coach in her young career.   In Mathews first season at Lehigh, she helped lead starting goalkeeper Julia Ward, who has started since her freshman year. Ward finished the season with an impressive .687 save percentage, highlighted by four games with double-digit saves. She allowed one goal or fewer on four occasions, including stopping 11-of-12 shots in a 2-1 win over Towson. Ward continued her strong play in 2015, posting a 2.98 GAA and .675 save percentage, including a shutout. She allowed one goal or fewer on seven occassions, including just one goal (in overtime) vs. American and one in wins over Sacred Heart, Colgate and Holy Cross.   Matthews wrapped up her collegiate career in 2013 by playing in eight games (five starts). Among the highlights of her senior season were shutouts against Bryant and Sacred Heart. Matthews played in all 21 games as both a sophomore and junior. In her sophomore campaign, she compiled a stellar .748 save percentage and 1.69 GAA, recording her fourth shutout of the season in an NEC Semifinal win over Quinnipiac.   Mathews has served as a goalkeeper coach for U.S. Field Hockey, coaching a region 6 goalkeeper site for Futures. She is a level two head coach for Futures. Matthews has also coached at her former high school (Rancocas Valley) and has coached at Monmouths summer camps.   Mathews has also impressed in the classroom, graduating this past May as a Psychology major with minors in Health Studies and Gender Studies. She finished with a 3.19 overall GPA, earning academic honors in the NEC and MAAC during her time at Monmouth.  

Eversley begins her fifth season as Lehighs head field hockey coach in 2015. In her first year, Eversley led the Mountain Hawks to a 3-2 league record - their best finish since 2007 - and the #3 seed in the Patriot League Tournament, Lehighs second tournament appearance in three years and Eversleys third in her first four years in Bethlehem (including her time as assistant coach). One of the biggest wins came against eventual Patriot League Finalist Bucknell.   Eversley helped coach Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year Sierra Segear, who allowed only 11 goals in league play, the fewest the Mountain Hawks allowed since 2001 (when they also allowed 11). The last time a Lehigh goalie allowed fewer was in 1996. Segear went on to earn a spot on the NFHCA All-Mideast Region Second Team.   The Mountain Hawks placed three others on All-League Teams, including Kim Eng, Steph Fratoni and Marie Mignogna. Lehigh garnered five Patriot League weekly awards, led by three Goalkeeper of the Week honors from Segear.   After a tough start, Lehigh went 5-4 in its final nine regular season games to gain momentum heading into 2012. That included winning three-of-four in one stretch. Eversleys first win came over La Salle, a team which went on to the Atlantic 10 Tournament. The Mountain Hawks also earned their first-ever victory over Penn while picking up big Patriot League wins over Bucknell, Colgate and Holy Cross.   The Mountain Hawks continued to make strides in 2012 and 2013. Lehigh hung tough in every game during the 2013 season, including picking up back-to-back shutouts (over Towson and Georgetown) while defeating a strong Lock Haven program. Marissa Glatt finished second in the Patriot League in goals (12) and points (25) and was the only freshman named first team All-League.   The 2014 season was highlighted by a September stretch when Lehigh went 4-1, beating Towson in overtime before topping Georgetown, Holy Cross and Sacred Heart in succession. Gabby Tofig enjoyed a breakout season offensively, leading the Mountain Hawks with 17 points to earn second team All-Patriot League honors. Fratoni also earned those honors, along with Academic All-Patriot League recognition for a second straight year. In addition, Tofig and Fratoni garnered Patriot League weekly awards in late September, receiving Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively.   Eversleys appointment before the 2011 season marked a return to Lehigh as she previously spent three years as an assistant coach for the Mountain Hawks, before moving on to American International College where she turned around that program in just one season. In her first year as a college head coach, Eversley inherited an American International team that went 6-12 in 2009 and transformed it into a 14-8 program that more than doubled the school record for wins in a season, while earning an at-large bit to the NCAA tournament, a first for the AIC field hockey program. Eversley served as the top assistant coach at Lehigh for her predecessor, Julie Mazer from 2007 to 2009. Upon returning, she played a major role in recruiting many of the student-athletes on Lehighs roster, while also assisting with scouting and working closely with Lehighs attacking players. In 2009, Eversley helped guide Eng and Morgan Christopher to first team All-Patriot League honors, while Eng went on to be named Patriot League Rookie of the Year and a second team NFHCA All-Region selection.
