Limestone University Men's Volleyball

Gramit joins the Limestone staff as Assistant Mens and Womens Volleyball coach after a successful six-year playing career overseas. Most recently Gramit played for Tierp Volley in the Swedish league Elitserien herrar. He was team co-captain and named the top attacker and point scorer in the league at the conclusion of the season. He also played for Sarkat Volley in Finland as well as for teams in Austria and Switzerland. Gramits list of accomplishments include winning the league championship with Sarkat Volley in 2014 when he was the third leading scorer, winning three major Swedish championships with Falkenberg in 2010-11 and finishing in the top five in scoring within his league during four seasons. A 2009 graduate of George Mason University, Gramit has also been involved with the Sports Performance Volleyball Club since 2006. There he has worked with kids ages 12-18 at a variety of levels including head coach of two teams which competed in national tournaments and several assistant coaching positions. Gramit is a native of Naperville, Ill.  

Skweres enters his sixth season at Limestone and fourth as the head coach after being elevated to interim status on May 8, 2013. In addition to his five years in Gaffney, he has nine years of coaching experience, seven of which came with premier youth programs in Illinois. After his collegiate playing career, Skweres served as a volunteer assistant coach with the College of DuPage volleyball program before heading up the Hinsdale South High School boys volleyball program. While at Hinsdale, he led the program to a school record 22-12 campaign and posted a mark of 42-23 in two seasons before moving on to the club ranks with D1 Volleyball Club and Sports Performance Volleyball Club. During his time with the latter, he coached both men and women and trained and coached a number of athletes that went on to play at the Division I level. Additionally, he has worked volleyball camps across the United States and in Canada. Skweres is certified in Increased Mastery and Professional Application of Coaching Theory (IMPACT), holds a Level 1 certification in the Coaching Accreditation Program through USA Volleyball and has been an evaluator with girls USA High Performance Volleyball pipeline. In 2003, he graduated from Lewis with a Bachelor of Science in History and a minor in Political Science. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Education from National Louis University. Brandon is married to the former Rachel Malmborg, who is the all-time Division I kills leader at Birmingham Southern College. The couple currently resides in Boiling Springs S.C.
