Assistant Coach
Wright is the Blue Raiders' tight ends coach. He helped guide the Blue Raiders to their second-straight NAIA Football Championship Series appearance in 2015, finishing the season with an 8-3 record. Lindsey Wilson began the year with a 6-0 record as the Blue Raiders achieved the program's first-ever No. 1 national ranking, a ranking that was held for four weeks throughout the year. Wright helped lead Lindsey Wilson to the Mid-South Conference East Division title and a 10-3 overall record in 2014, the most wins in program history. He helped the Blue Raiders win their first-ever NAIA FCS playoff game in their first postseason appearance. Wright helped coach an All Mid-South Conference First Team selection at the tight end position in 2014. Before joining Lindsey Wilson, Wright was an Assistant Offensive Line Coach at Monmouth College in fall 2012, working with the offensive line, running backs and tight ends. His responsibilities also included offensive film breakdown. As a student-athlete at Monmouth, Wright was a starting center his junior and senior years and was named a captain his senior year. Monmouth made it to the second round of the national tournament in 2011. Prior to Monmouth, Wright was an assistant coach at Canton High School (Ill.), where he worked with the varsity offensive line and was the offensive coordinator for the sophomore level for four years. Gaymon serves as the Blue Raiders' cornerbacks coach. In his first season with the Lindsey Wilson football program, Gaymon helped lead the Blue Raiders to a 8-3 record and a second-straight appearance in the NAIA Football Championship Series. The Blue Raiders started the season 6-0 and achieved the program's first-ever No. 1 national ranking. Gaymon saw two of his student-athletes at the defensive back position earn All Mid-South Conference honors in 2015, one First Team selection and one Second Team selection. Prior to joining Lindsey Wilson, Gaymon served as the head coach, defensive coordinator and special teams coordinator for the Wroclaw Panthers of Poland where he helped lead the team to the national championship game, leading the league in points allowed and total defense. Gaymon has also spent time coaching with Mansfield (Pa.) University, the Wroclaw Giants of Poland and the Caimans Le Mans football teams. He also served as the defensive coordinator for the D3 Senior Classic and Euro-American Challenge in 2013. Gaymon graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 2007. Smith is the Blue Raiders' defensive line coach. He helped Lindsey Wilson to an 8-3 record in 2015 and the program's second-straight appearance in the NAIA Football Championship Series. The Blue Raiders started the year 6-0 and achieved the program's first-ever No. 1 national ranking. Smith coached a pair of student-athletes from the defensive line position that earned All Mid-South Conference Second Team honors in 2015. He helped lead the Blue Raiders to a 10-3 record and the Mid-South Conference East Division title in 2014, along with the program's first-ever NAIA FCS playoff victory. Smith helped coach a pair of All-MSC First Team selections and a Second Team selection in 2014, helping the Blue Raider defense to set program records with 45 total takeways and 33.5 sacks. Smith joined Lindsey Wilson after an outstanding playing career for the Blue Raiders from 2010-14. He was one of the founding student-athletes of the program when it returned to Lindsey Wilson in 2010 after a 75-year hiatus. The offensive lineman was voted team captain for three seasons from 2011-13. Smith is a three-time All Mid-South Conference First Team selection (2011-13) and earned All-MSC honorable mentions honors as a freshman in 2010. He was named to the Kentucky All-Commonweath Team in 2011, Capital One Academic All-District Team in 2012 and selected to play in the D2 vs. NAIA All-Star Bowl in 2013. Smith graduated from Lindsey Wilson in 2014 with a degree in business management. Sutton returns as the Blue Raiders' safeties coach, his fourth season with the program. He previously spent two seasons at Eastern Kentucky University serving as the Colonels' cornerbacks coach before returning to Lindsey Wilson. He helped the Colonels to a 6-5 record in 2015 and a 9-4 record in 2014. Before joining Eastern Kentucky, Sutton spent three seasons with Lindsey Wilson from 2011-13 as the program's cornerbacks coach. Prior to Lindsey Wilson, Sutton coached at Malone (Ohio) where he also worked with cornerbacks as well as special teams. As a student-athlete, Sutton played at Muskingum (Ohio) where he was a three-year starter at wide receiver. He concluded his career at Muskingum ranked seventh in the programs history in receiving yards. During his senior season, Sutton was named the teams offensive most valuable player. Sutton graduated from Muskingum in 2010. Robinson serves as the Blue Raiders' wide receivers coach. Prior to joining Lindsey Wilson, Robinson served as the tight ends coach at Ohio Dominican University from 2015-16. Before his time at Ohio Dominican, Robinson worked as an assistant football coach and social studies teacher at Eaton High School for three years. Robinson graduated from Ohio Dominican in 2012 and later earned his master's degree in 2016. Workman is the Blue Raiders' outside linebackers coach. Prior to joining Lindsey Wilson, Workman served as an assistant coach and special teams coordinator with Alderson Broaddus University. He also worked as a defensive analyst and outside linebackers coach with Davidson College in 2015. Workman has also spent time working as an assistant coach at the high school level, as an offensive quality control coach and quarterbacks assistant at Ohio Dominican University and as a student assistant at The Ohio State University. Workman graduated from Ohio Dominican in 2014 with a degree in sports administration. Stevens is the Blue Raiders' running backs coach. Stevens joins Lindsey Wilson after serving as the Chief Executive and Marketing Director of KTA Recruiting from 2013-16. He previously served as an assistant coach with Mead High School during the 2015 season and as an assistant coach for three seasons with Earlham (Ind.) College from 2012-15. Stevens has 11 total seasons coaching student-athletes including one as a head coach for Southside Brisbane in Australia. He has worked with defensive line, tight ends, punters, linebackers, running backs and wide receivers. Stevens graduated from Washington State University in 2010. Gay is the Blue Raiders' assistant offensive line coach. Prior to joining the Lindsey Wilson staff, Gay was the head football coach at Adair County High School from 2011-15. In his five seasons with the Indians, Gay led Adair County to a 33-23 record, including a pair of Pioneer Athletic Conference Championships and a pair of district runner-up finishes. Under his guidance, Adair County collected a 10 win season, the most wins in a single year, and the program's lone playoff victories in school history. For his efforts, Gay was named the PAC Coach of the Year in 2014 and 2015 and the KHSAA District Coach of the Year in 2014. He has spent time previously coaching and teaching at Adair County, Taylor County and Anderson County. Gay served as a graduate assistant coach with the football program at Campbellsville University from 2003-04. Prior to his coaching days, Gay was a two-time all-conference performer and NAIA All-American while playing at Campbellsville from 2000-04.
