Lindsey Wilson College Men's Golf

Wyrick led the men's team to back-to-back NAIA National Championship Tournament appearances after capturing the Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship in both 2014 and 2015. The Blue Raiders finished in 20th place at the national championships in 2014 and followed with a 16th-place finish in 2015 after Lindsey Wilson had not made an appearance at the national tournament since the 2005-06 season. The 16th place was one spot shy of the program's best-ever finish at the national tournament. In addition to capturing the two MSC Tournament titles, the men's team has won 11 total events in Wyrick's three seasons at the helm, including a share of the 2014-15 MSC regular-season title. Lindsey Wilson finished as the runner-up at the 2016 MSC Championship Tournament. The women's team has posted 27 top-five finishes in Wyrick's three seasons at the helm, including 17 top-three finishes and a pair of event wins. Despite finishing the season ranked No. 20 in the NAIA in 2014, the Blue Raider womens team just missed a trip to the national tournament. The Blue Raiders finished second in the MSC Championship after winning twice during the season. In his three seasons at Lindsey Wilson, Wyrick has coached 12 all-conference men, five all-conference women and four NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The 2014-15 season saw Chris Butler earn MSC Player of the Year honors and Oliver Cowl earn MSC Freshman of the Year honors for the men's team. Prior to coming to Lindsey Wilson, Wyrick coached the men and womens golf teams at his alma mater Union (Ky.) for six years. Wyrick led the Union men's and women's golf programs to a combined 15 tournament wins, including each program winning an Appalachian Athletic Conference championship. He led the Bulldog men to the program's only NAIA National Championship appearance in 2009. He was selected by his peers as the 2009 AAC Men's Golf Coach of the Year and the 2010 AAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year. Prior to becoming Union coach, Wyrick earned all-conference honors all four seasons for the Bulldogs -- the only Union men's golfer to earn that distinction. Wyrick graduated from Union College in 2006. He and his wife, Natasha, have one son, Kayden.   Collegiate Coaching Career Union College: Head Coach (2007-13) Lindsey Wilson College: Head Coach (2013-present)   Contact Information Office: Golf Offices Fax: Mail: 210 Lindsey Wilson Street, Columbia, KY 42728 E-Mail: [email protected]     Eric Wyricks Collegiate Career -- Mens Golf Year School Wins Conference Finish Conference Tournament Finish NAIA Finish Championships / Awards 2007-08 Union 0 -- 7th --   2008-09 Union 2 -- 1st 26th AAC Tournament Champs AAC Coach of the Year 2009-10 Union 0 -- 5th --   2010-11 Union 0 -- 5th --   2011-12 Union 1 -- 3rd --   2012-13 Union 2 -- 5th --   2013-14 Lindsey Wilson 5 2nd 1st 20th MSC Tournament Champs 2014-15 Lindsey Wilson 5 T-1st 1st 16th MSC Tournament Champs MSC Regular Season Co-Champs 2015-16 Lindsey Wilson 1 3rd 2nd -       Eric Wyricks Collegiate Career -- Womens Golf Year School Wins Conference Finish Conference Tournament Finish NAIA Finish Championships / Awards 2007-08 Union 0 -- -- --   2008-09 Union 2 -- 4th --   2009-10 Union 5 -- 3rd --   2010-11 Union 1 -- 3rd --   2011-12 Union 1 -- 3rd --   2012-13 Union 1 -- 6th --   2013-14 Lindsey Wilson 2 2nd 2nd --   2014-15 Lindsey Wilson 0 3rd 5th --   2015-16 Lindsey Wilson 0 T-3rd 4th --   Eric Wyrick begins his fourth season in 2016-17 as the head men's and women's golf coach at Lindsey Wilson College.
