Wethington led the Blue Raiders to a historic season in 2015-16 as Lindsey Wilson advanced to the NAIA National Quarterfinals for the first time. As a team, the Blue Raiders compiled a 28-7 record, the most wins in a single season in program history, while Wethington achieved a coaching milestone with his 500th career victory in Lindsey Wilson's 84-63 victory over Lane (Tenn.) on Nov. 7, 2015. Wethington led Lindsey Wilson to the program's 11th all-time appearance at the NAIA National Championship Tournament in 2015-16 as the Blue Raiders wrapped up conference play with a 10-4 record and an appearance in the Mid-South Conference Tournament Semifinals. Lindsey Wilson's trip to the national quarterfinals marked the first time the Blue Raiders have won back-to-back games at a single tournament, both coming via upset in 2015-16 after knocking off fourth-seeded Talladega (Ala.) and second-seeded Westmonot (Calif.). The 2015-16 season saw Chanel Roberts eclipse the 1,000 point mark, earn Second Team All-American honors and First Team All-MSC honors whiel Kayla Richardson earned Second Team All-MSC honors and Kayla Styles was named to the NAIA All-Tournament Second Team. During his time on the Blue Raider sideline, Wethington has led Lindsey Wilson to 22 winning seasons and 15 seasons of 20 or more wins. Wethington owns a career record of 527-324, all games coming at the helm of the Lindsey Wilson women's basketball program. He earned his 500th career win in a 84-63 victory over Lane (Tenn.) on Nov. 7, 2015, his 450th career win on Dec. 15, 2012 in an 82-66 win over Wilberforce (Ohio) and his 400th career win with a 99-67 win over Morris (S.C.) on Nov. 5, 2010. Wethingtons teams have reached the NAIA National Tournament 11 times overall during his time as the Blue Raiders head coach. The Blue Raiders have reached the tournament's round of 16 four times, with one appearance in the final eight. Wethington led the Blue Raiders to five Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) championships prior to moving to the Mid-South Conference in 2000-01. In 2007-08, Wethington led the Blue Raiders to their second consecutive Mid-South Conference regular-season title. Lindsey Wilson finished that season with an 8-2 record in league play after a 9-1 mark in 2006-07. Wethington has been honored five times with conference coach of the year awards. Wethington was the 1990-91, 1996-97 and 1998-99 KIAC Women's Basketball Coach of the Year and 2006-07 and 2007-08 Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Coach of the Year. Wethington earned his 300th win on Nov. 12, 2005 in a 59-44 win over Grace (Ind.), his 200th win on Nov. 30, 1999 over Lipscomb (Tenn.) and his 100th win on Jan. 21, 1995 over Brescia (Ky.). Before being named head coach at Lindsey Wilson in 1989, Wethington spent two seasons as an assistant coach for the womens program. Wethington graduated from Western Kentucky in 1987. Wethington served as head manager for the mens basketball program, which was coached by former college and NBA star Clem Haskins. Wethington was also a student assistant coach at LWC during the 1982-83 and 1983-84 seasons. Wethington and his wife, Shelia, have two children, Mason and Brenna. Duncan helped guide the Blue Raiders to a 28-7 record in 2015-16, the most wins in a single season in program history, along with the program's first-ever appearance at the NAIA National Tournament Quarterfinals. In her three previous seasons with the Blue Raiders, Duncan has helped coach a Second Team NAIA All-American, a Third Team All-American, an All-Tournament Second Team selection, two All-MSC First Team selections, five All-MSC Second Team selections and the MSC Freshman of the Year in 2013-14. The Mid-South Conference Player of the Year in 2006-07, Duncan totaled 1,694 points and 640 rebounds in her four seasons as a Blue Raider. She earned Academic All-MSC and All-MSC First Team honors three years in a row (2005-06, 2006-07, and 2007-08). Her efforts during her junior and senior seasons helped Lindsey Wilson capture back-to-back MSC regular-season titles and NAIA All-American honors. Duncan began her coaching career as an assistant girls coach at Russell County High School in 2008-09, then joined the St. Catharine College womens basketball staff as an assistant in 2009-10. While with the Patriots, Duncan helped coach an All-MSC Honorable Mention and three Academic All-MSC honorees. Prior to joining Lindsey Wilson, she was an assistant coach with the University of Pikeville womens basketball program. In her three years at Pikeville, Duncan coached an MSC Freshman of the Year, an All-MSC First Team honoree, an All-MSC Second Team Honoree and a total of 15 Academic All-MSC student-athletes. Duncan graduated from Lindsey Wilson in 2008 with a degree in Biology and completed her master's degree in Sport Management at Morehead State University in 2015. Prior to joining the Blue Raiders, Goodson was an assistant at Florida State College-Jacksonville during the 2013-14 season. The Blue Wave finished the year with a 24-7 record while winning the Mid-Florida Conference Championship, and concluding the year ranked #13 in the final NJCAA Poll. While at FSCJ, he coached three First Team All-Conference, one Second Team All-Conference, and two First Team All-Region selections. Before his stint at FSCJ, Goodson worked on the womens basketball staff at Fisk University as an assistant in 2012-2013. While at Fisk, Goodson helped lead the Bulldogs to their best season in 8 years, and a GCAC Tournament win over nationally ranked #10 Xavier (LA). He has also spent time serving as a team manager with the women's basketball program at Stetson University. Goodson has been involved in the grassroots of womens basketball since 2012. He has scouted for multiple nationally renowned recruiting services, and contributed to Fullcourt.com. Goodson also coaches with Kentucky Premier of the Nike Girls EYBL. In his time with the program, KY Premier has produced over 30 NCAA D1 commits and two McDonalds All-Americans.
