Jon Sandoval
Head Coach
Jon Sandoval joined Loyola Chicago as the head coach of the Ramblers’ women’s soccer program in December 2024. Sandoval brings an impressive track record of success and leadership to Loyola, having spent the last five years elevating the Northern Michigan University (NMU) women’s soccer team to national prominence. Sandoval arrives to Rogers Park following a standout career at NMU where he transformed the Wildcats into a perennial powerhouse. In 2024, the program won back-to-back Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) regular season and tournament titles and made its third consecutive NCAA Division II Tournament appearance. Sandoval was named GLIAC Coach of the Year for the second straight season while three Wildcats collected Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year postseason accolades. In 2023, Sandoval guided NMU to its first-ever GLIAC regular season and tournament championship titles. His accomplishments earned him GLIAC Coach of the Year for the first time, and under Sandoval’s leadership the Wildcats finished the season ranked eighth in the United Soccer Coaches Division II Women’s Soccer Poll, garnering the program national recognition. Over his tenure at NMU, Sandoval posted a 62-20-15 career record and an overall .716 winning percentage after five seasons – the best of any head coach to lead the program. Prior to his arrival, NMU had not had a winning season since 2011. Sandoval has coached five Players of the Year, five All-Americans, two Freshmen of the Year and 22 all-conference awardees and eight All-Region players. Prior to his head coaching position at NMU, Sandoval was the assistant coach for the Wildcats men’s soccer team from 2018-2020. Before that, he served as an assistant coach at St. Ambrose University, helping the team reach the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference semifinals. Sandoval held the head coach position at Davenport West High School in Iowa, where he guided the program to its first-ever tournament championship. Sandoval had his first coaching position at his alma mater, Western Illinois University, as an assistant coach and director of operations for three seasons. As a student-athlete, Sandoval helped the Fighting Leathernecks to an appearance in the 2010 NCAA Tournament and was awarded captain status for his senior campaign. A native of East Moline, Ill., Sandoval earned his bachelor's degree in psychology in 2012 before attaining two master's degrees from Western Illinois University (MA) and St. Ambrose University (MBA).

Natalie Stampfly
Assistant Coach
Natalie Stampfly is entering her first year as an assistant coach for the Loyola Chicago women’s soccer team for the 2025 season. Stampfly joins the Ramblers after a successful 2024 season as an assistant coach with the women's soccer team at Northern Michigan University, where she was also a five-year letterwinner. With the Wildcats and Sandoval, Stampfly helped guide the program to the GLIAC regular season and tournament championships, and an appearance in the NCAA tournament. Prior to her role at NMU, Stampfly worked as a graduate assistant for the women's soccer team at Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Ga. While earning her master's degree in health and human performance, Stampfly played a key role in training sessions, scouting and player development at GCSU. As a decorated student-athlete and two-year captain at NMU, Stampfly led the Wildcats to the 2022 conference final and an NCAA tournament bid with Sandoval at the helm of the program. She earned GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team honors for four consecutive years. Stampfly, a native of Stevensville, Mich. began her coaching journey with the Marquette United Soccer Club. Off the pitch, Stampfly brings an extensive background in collegiate athletics and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Her high soccer IQ and passion for the game has helped her instruct players from multiple skill levels and backgrounds. From weight training and nutrition plans to film evaluation, she is well-versed in all aspects of player development. Stampfly's experience scouting and recruiting new athletes will be key to the future of the program.

Brady Moody
Assistant Coach
Brady Moody joined Loyola Chicago in January 2025 as the women's soccer's newest assistant coach. Moody, a Bolingbrook, Ill. native, brings a wealth of experience to Rogers Park, having previously served as an assistant coach at the United States Air Force Academy and the University of Tulsa. Moody most recently served as an assistant men's soccer coach at the Air Force Academy, where he oversaw goalkeeper training and opposition analysis. Prior to his time in Colorado, he spent two seasons at Tulsa, where he helped guide the Golden Hurricane goalkeeper, Alex Lopez, to eight shutouts and the American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year award in 2022. Before signing on as Tulsa's goalkeepers coach, Moody worked as the volunteer assistant coach. The Chicagoland area native began his coaching career as the director of goalkeeping for the Tulsa Soccer Club from September 2021 to July 2024. With the ECNL club, Moody implemented the goalkeeping philosophy for nearly 50 teams and aided in the recruiting process of high school keepers. He's certified in coaching with a US Soccer C and D license. Moody was a four-year letterwinner of the Tulsa men's soccer team from 2018 to 2021 and earned his bachelor's degree in marketing in May 2021 and his master's degree in business administration in December 2022, both from his alma mater.

Sean Palacios
Assistant Coach
Sean Palacios joined Loyola Chicago's women's soccer squad in March 2025 as the program's third assistant coach. Palacios, a Chicago, Ill. native, brings a wealth of experience to Rogers Park, having an extensive coaching career for the past 15 years across various levels. Palacios has coached eight teams to an Illinois State Championship on the club side, a Girls Academy National Championship in 2024, was the head coach at Saint Ignatius College Prep from 2016-2019, where he was named coach of the year in 2017 by IHSCAA, and was part of the University of Chicago men's soccer staff which was awarded the Coaching Staff of the Year in 2016. Palacios has also spent time with the Chicago Fire Academy. He currently serves as the Senior Girls Director at Chicago FC United Soccer Club, a founding member of the Girls Developmental Academy and now the Girls Academy. Palacios oversees the growth of players, coaches and teams at Chicago FC United. He has spent the past decade developing players to the collegiate level, and his former players are contributing to numerous programs across the country. Palacios was a member of the Western Illinois men's soccer team that competed in the NCAA tournament and won the Mid-Con Tournamentin in 2005 and 2006. He also holds a USSF C coaching license.
