Lycoming College Men's Wrestling

Crebs' wrestlers turned in one of the most memorable campaigns in his tenure in 2014-15. The team finished 13-3 in dual meets, the team's best record since 2001-02 and finished 21 at the NCAA Division III Championships. The Warriors also finished third at the Budd Whitehill National Duals which helped the squad enter the national rankings where it reached as high as 20 in the NWCA Coaches' Poll. Barger had a remarkable run to a third-place finish and All-American status at the NCAA Division III Championships. He coached two NCAA Mideast Region champions and NCAA qualifiers.   The team was just as successful in the classroom, as it was honored as one of the Division III All-Academic Top 30 Teams. He coached three NWCA Division III Scholar All-Americans (Barger, Sam Batchelor and Caleb Willey) and five Academic All-MAC selections as a record seven wrestlers were named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll.

Reese has spent seven of the past eight years on the sidelines with the program. Reese will once again be critical in developing and running practices for the program. A three-time MAC placewinner, Reese posted a solid 82 wins during his four-year career from 2001-05. The Milton, Pa., native was a MAC finalist twice in his career. He was a team captain as a senior, a two-time team MVP and earned the team's Andy Berguson Award. Reese earned a bachelor of arts from Lycoming in 2005, and went on to earn a master's of science degree from Marshall University. He is an Aquatic Biologist with the Watershed Sciences and Engineering Program at Bucknell Universitys Center for Sustainability and the Environment. Reese has been married to the former Ashley O'Neill for three years and lives in New Columbia, Pa., with their son, Cullen.  

Caschera worked with the team's lower weights, helping both freshman Kyle Drick and senior Caleb Willey to 30-win seasons. As a team, the Warriors finished 21st at the NCAA Division III Championships and were ranked as high as 20th in the country. The team also finished third at the Budd Whitehill National Duals and posted a 13-3 dual meet record. Caschera came to Lycoming after working as an assistant coach at South Williamsport for the past two seasons, where he helped mentor three wrestlers that placed at the North East Regional.   A five-year member of the wrestling team at Penn State, Caschera helped the Lions to their first national title in 2010. A backup at 125 pounds, Caschera posted a 15-10 mark during his senior year while competing mostly in open tournaments, but also entering the starting dual meet lineup twice during the season. During his redshirt freshman season, Caschera earned a silver during the World Team trials and placed fourth at the FILA Junior Nationals.   While at Penn State, Caschera also worked at Penn State wrestling camps and served as a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Board.   At South Williamsport, Caschera placed fourth in the state as a senior in 2006 and he was a two-time state qualifier. He was a three-time district placewinner, winning a District 4 title as a senior. Caschera resides in South Williamsport.
