Head Coach
Scott was named MAAC Coach of the Year. He led the Jaspers to a 5-3-2 conference record in 2013 and a top-four seed in the MAAC tournament for just the fifth time in program history while reaching the postseason under the four-team format for the first time since 2001. The five MAAC victories also tied the program record while the 17 points set a new school record. Manhattan dropped a heartbreaker in the semifinals to Monmouth via penalty kicks. earned All-MAAC Second Team honors during the regular season while and earned MAAC All-Tournament Team honors. Additionally, notched a spot on the MAAC All-Rookie Team. In 2014, under Scott's guidance Amos repeated on the MAAC Tournament Team honor and was joined by . Last year, Bartoah became Scott's first-ever All-MAAC First Team selection as Manhattan defeated Saint Peter's in the opening round of the conference tournament before dropping a one-goal heartbreaker to MAAC Regular Season Champion Monmouth. Scott has served as the Academy Director at Sports Domain Academy in Montclair, NJ and has coached within the organization since 2003. In this role, he trains players 18 years and under across the tri-state region. During his tenure at Sports Domain Academy, several of Scott's teams have earned state and national recognition. He coaches the Montclair Gauchos (U16 boys) who, in 2012, reached the U.S. Youth National Championships in Phoenix, after winning the New Jersey State Cup and capturing the Region 1 title with a dramatic 4-3 overtime win against Olney Maryland. From 2004-2008, Scott worked as the Football for Life Program Director in Maun & Kasane, Botswana (Africa) training over 300 children ages 7 to 15 living in poverty. In the United Kingdom, Scott was the head coach of the University of Glamorgan (First Team) from 2001-2003 which competed at an elite level within British University Sport. He also spent two years as the head coach of the men's and women's national teams at the University of Wales Athletic Union. Scott played five years (1993-97) as a youth professional with Ayr United FC in Scotland. At the collegiate level, he was the team captain of the first team at University of Glamorgan and for Wales Universities. Scott earned his bachelor's degree in sports psychology from the University of Glamorgan in 2002. He is working toward a master's degree in physical and special education at Montclair State University. Scott holds a UEFA B coaching license and a NSCAA Premier Diploma.
