Manning came to Marywood from nearby Keystone College where she led the Giants for six seasons and took the field hockey team to four Colonial States Athletic Conference semifinal appearances and was the 2012 CSAC Coach of the Year. In Manning's first year with the Pacers, she led the program to eight wins, tying her with one other coach as the winningest first year coach in field hockey program history. Manning also produced two First Team All-CSAC selections, including Rookie of the Year Tori Jo Kakusian. In her second season at the helm (2015), Manning led the Pacers to the CSAC playoffs and produced three First Team All-Conference selections. Manning was named the CSAC Coach of the Year following the 2012 season after leading the Giants to a 6-1 conference record as Keystone finished tied atop the league standings. Under Manning's guidance, the Giants have been named a Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division III National Academic Team with a team GPA above a 3.0 during the fall semester on several occasions. In 2013, the Giants won their last four games, including a 2-1 win over regular season champion Cabrini College, to finish 4-3 in the CSAC to tie for third place, but Keystone missed out on a playoff berth on the conference's tie-breaking criteria while finishing the season 6-11 overall. Five Giants went on to earn All-CSAC honors. During the 2012 season, Coach Manning led a squad that featured nine players that earned All-CSAC honors led by Hope Krolewski, who was named the CSAC Player of the Year and was an All-Region selection. In 2011, Coach Manning saw six of her players earn post-season honors in the CSAC. The 2010 season saw the Giants make their third straight conference semi-final appearance and double digit win tally. The 2009 campaign saw Coach Manning lead her team to a program record 14-win season, as the Giants captured the regular season title in the CSAC and a berth in the conference semi-finals. The 2008 season coach Manning and her Giants put together a 10-win season, which included a post-season victory, and a trip to the CSAC semi-finals. Coach Manning had the distinct honor of leading the program's re-emergence after a 20-year hiatus. A graduate of East Stroudsburg University, Manning has enjoyed success as a field hockey player on both the high school and collegiate levels. While a member of the Lackawanna Trail High School team, the Dalton, PA native was a four year starter and letter winner. She earned All-Conference honors in the Wyoming Valley Conference on three occasions, while being named as a Pennsylvania All-State performer on two occasions. During her time at East Stroudsburg, the program compiled a mark of 55-29, with Manning starting in all 84 games. During her freshman campaign in 2001 the squad advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championship game, finishing the year as the National Runner-up. On their way to the title tilt, her squad upset the nation's number one ranked team in Lock Haven University in the national semi-finals. Manning and her teammates followed up their run to the national tournament with an ECAC Championship the following year, as they compiled 30 victories in her first two seasons. While Manning and her teammates demonstrated success on the field, they also displayed it in the classroom when the team was awarded the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II National Academic Team Award for earning a grade point average of 3.38 following the 2004 season. Prior to taking over the head coaching reigns at Keystone, Manning served as the assistant field hockey coach at Lackawanna Trail during the 2006-2007 season, a campaign that saw the Lady Lions finish as the Wyoming Valley Conference AAA District Runner-up. Manning earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management from East Stroudsburg in 2006 and a Master of Science in Sport Management from California University of Pennsylvania in 2010. She resides in Dalton with her husband Kevin and their three children: Cooper, Hayden, and Quinn. Administratively, Manning serves as the Student-Athlete Affairs Coordinator and handles transfer compliance while overseeing and advising the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
