Medaille University Women's Cross Country

Arlington enter her 4th season as the cross country coach at Medaille College when the Mavericks hit the courses this Fall. She brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, as well as a winning pedigree with her to Medaille. In her first season at the helm Coach Arlington was named the AMCC Men's Cross Country Coach of the Year. Coach Arlington was a member of two NCAA Division III National Champion Cross Country teams in her years at Cortland State along with being a swimmer and a member of their track and field teams as well. She earned 10 different All American designations while at Cortland and set numerous records in her four years there. She earned both her Masters and Bachelors degress from Cortland. After college she continued to excel. In 2001 she was named the Buffalo News Overall Female Runner of the Year and has been an age group champion in that series on several occassions. She has been a volunteer coach with Lockport High Schools cross country and track teams. Coached the Y-10 clinic for the past 4 years and has developed a 14 week program to prepare novice runners to compete in a 10 mile race. She is the current record holder in the Lockport Y-10 race which takes place every February. She is also a personal trainer for runners aspiring to compete at distance levels of 5k races all the way up to marathons. Coach Arlington works in the Special Education Department at Lockport High School and resides in that town with her three children (Margaret, Hannah, and David) and her husband David.
