John Slauenwhite
Coach
Slauenwhite to the Memorial Sea-Hawks marks the first time the womens program will be run by a full time coach, a factor he thinks will make vast improvements. He mentions that the time commitment at the CIS level is an immense contribution and that being on campus will allow for added opportunities in recruiting, video analysis and scouting opponents, to name a few. For the past two seasons Coach Slauenwhite has been developing the Sea-Hawks Women's Volleyball team to new heights. This past season (2015-16) Coach Slauenwhite led the team to their first winning season in 8 years and first AUS championship game appearance in 16 years. In addition, he has overseen the development of a multi-age club system that will help to develop elite volleyball players in Newfoundland. Bachelor of Kinesiology - University of New Brunswick Bachelor of Physical Education - Acadia University
