Anthony Yousey
Head Coach
Anthony Yousey is entering his sixth season as the Head Coach of the MACU Women's Soccer program heading into the 2026 campaign. In 2025, Yousey helped lead MACU to even further progress as it establishes itself as a mainstay at the NAIA level. On-top of wrapping up the year with a 12-5-3 overall record while finishing in a tie for third in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings with a 5-1-3 mark in league play. The Evangels qualified for their second-straight appearance in the NAIA Tournament, making an at-large berth, and captured the program's first NAIA Tournament win with a 6-0 victory over Talladega in the NAIA Opening Round. Yousey led the Evangels to new heights in the 2024 season as MACU captured a share of its first ever SAC regular season title, wrapping up the year with a 14-4-2 overall record and went 8-1 in league play. As a result, the Evangels received their first ever bid to the NAIA National Tournament. MACU picked up some massive results over the course of the 2024 campaign, opening the year on Aug. 29 with a 2-1 victory over Red River Athletic Conference Champion LSU Shreveport at the Dill Soccer Field before battling back to force a 1-1 draw at No. 10 Columbia (Mo.) on Sept. 18. On Oct. 8, the Evangels made a massive statement by picking up a 2-0 victory over No. 19 John Brown at the Dill Soccer Field, marking just MACU's second win ever over the NAIA powerhouse program with the last coming in 2011. During the 2023 season, the Evangels put together one of their best years in program history as MACU wrapped up the campaign with a 16-3-2 overall record while placing fourth in the SAC standings with a 6-1-2 league mark. The 16 wins is tied for the most the team has notched in a single year in program history. MACU also qualified for the NCCAA National Championships in Kissimmee, Florida and dropped a hard-fought 1-0 defeat to eventual national champion Grace (Ind.) before closing out out pool play with a dominant 5-1 victory over Redeemer (Canada). In 2022, MACU closed out the season with a 6-10-2 overall record and for the fourth straight year, the Evangels finished in the top four of the Sooner Athletic Conference standings, placing in a tie for third with a 5-2-2 conference record. During the 2021 season, his first at the helm, Yousey guided the Evangels to an 11-9 overall record as well as an appearance in the NCCAA Division I National Championships. Under Yousey, the program won its fifth NCCAA Central Region Championship after defeating Central Christian 2-1 on Nov. 19. The Evangels also put together another stellar showing in Sooner Athletic Conference play, finishing fourth in the SAC standings with a 6-3 league mark. Yousey came to MACU after serving as the head men's soccer coach at NCAA Division II and former Sooner Athletic Conference member Oklahoma Baptist from 2013 to 2021, amassing a coaching record of 46-82-4 (.356) in his tenure with the Bison. Yousey's best season with OBU came during the 2016 campaign, leading the Bison to a 14-9-2 overall record while winning the Great American Conference regular season title with a 5-1 league record. During that campaign, Yousey guided the Bison to an NCCAA Central Region Championship, defeating Southwestern Christian (Okla.) in the championship match 4-2 in the postgame shootout after playing to a 1-1 draw in Lakewood, Colo. on Nov. 18, 2016. At the 2016 NCCAA National Championships in Kissimmee, Fla., Oklahoma Baptist defeated Houghton College (N.Y.) 7-4 on Nov. 29 to advance to the semifinal round before falling in a rematch to the eventual national champion SCU squad by a score of 5-3 on Dec. 2. Yousey currently serves the Director of Coaching at Sporting Oklahoma, starting in that role in 2022. Yousey is also in his third season as the assistant coach of the Oklahoma City Football Club in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL), where he works alongside former MACU women's soccer head coach Evan Dresel. Before starting his collegiate coaching career with the Bison, Yousey had an extensive high school coaching career in the Oklahoma City area. Yousey served as the boys' soccer head coach at Southmoore High School from 2008-2013 as well as the boys' and girls' head coach at Moore High School for three seasons between 2002 and 2005. Yousey also served as the boys' head coach at Yukon High School from 2000-01 and was the Del City High School girls' head soccer coach from 1999-2000. Yousey went into coaching after a two-year collegiate playing career with Southwestern Oklahoma State from 1999-2000, where he earned All-Lone Star Conference First Team and Tournament Team accolades. Yousey holds multiple program record marks, ranking second in career assists (9) and fifth in both career goals (7) and points (23). Yousey spent his freshman and sophomore campaigns with former Sooner Athletic Conference member St. Gregory's (Okla.). Yousey possesses a national "A" coaching license. He is married to his wife Amy and has two sons, Xavier and Isaiah. Asley Grulkey
Assistant Coach
Asley (Baker) Grulkey is entering into her second season as the Assistant Coach for the MACU Women's Soccer team for the 2026 campaign. In her first season as a coach, the Evangels marched a step further in NAIA postseason play as it qualified for the NAIA Tournament for the second straight year and achieved their first tourney victory with a 6-0 win over Talladega in the First Round. MACU wrapped up the 2025 season with a 12-5-3 overall record and placed in a tie for third in Sooner Athletic Conference play with a 5-1-3 league mark. The Evangels notched some big results over the course of the season, including picking up a 2-2 draw against SAC Champion No. 10 John Brown and a 3-2 win over Red River Athletic Conference Champion, LSU Shreveport. Grulkey joined MACU for her senior season before the 2024 campaign, where she helped lead the Evangels to their first SAC Championship. During that campaign, MACU finished the year with a 14-4-2 record while the team finished in a three-way tie for the SAC regular season crown with an 8-1 league mark. As a result, the Evangels qualified for their first NAIA Tournament. Due to her efforts, scoring three goals and dishing out four assists, Grulkey was named the SAC Newcomer of the Year while being placed on the All-SAC First Team and was also named an NCCAA Second Team All-American. Before coming to MACU, Grulkey played her first three years of college soccer at NCAA D-II Oklahoma Baptist, where she helped guide the Bison to the 2023 Great American Conference Championship as well as the 2021 GAC Tournament Championship while being named an All-GAC First Team honoree during her junior campaign. Outside of MACU, Grulkey serves as the Co-Head Coach for the Oklahoma Celtic 2012 girls team. Grulkey is the older sister of current MACU Evangel, Brae Baker, who she was teammates with in her last season at OBU and the 2024 season at MACU.

Nate Holladay
Assistant Coach
Nate Holladay is making his way into his fifth season with the MACU women's soccer program in 2026, primarily serving Graduate Assistant Coach while overseeing goalkeepers while also serving as one of the coaches for the MACU women's soccer reserve team. Over the course of the 2025 season, MACU went a step further in postseason play as it qualified for the NAIA Tournament for the second time in program history while picking up its first tourney win with a 6-0 victory over Talladaga in the First Round. The Evangels wrapped up the year with a 12-5-3 overall record with a 5-1-3 record against Sooner Athletic Conference competition. During the 2024 campaign, the Evangels reached a new level of success as MACU won its first ever Sooner Athletic Conference regular season title after closing out the year with a 14-4-2 overall record and went 8-1 in SAC play. MACU also qualified for its first ever NAIA National Tournament appearance. The Evangels picked up some massive results over the course of the season, including a 2-0 win over No. 19 John Brown and a 1-1 draw at No. 10 Columbia. Holladay was an instrumental piece in the team putting together one of its best seasons in program history in 2023 as the Evangels closed out the campaign by tying the most wins in a single season in program history with a 16-3-2 overall record while going 6-1-2 to finish fourth in SAC play. MACU was selected as the Central Region representative for the NCCAA National Championships in Kissimmee, Florida while picking up a 5-1 victory over Redeemer on Nov. 29 in pool play. The Evangels were also the only team to not be defeated by undefeated SAC Champion No. 10 John Brown during the regular season as MACU battled the Golden Eagles to a 0-0 draw in Siloam Springs, Arkansas on Oct. 21. In his first season as the program's assistant, the Evangels amassed a 6-10-2 overall record and finished in the top four of the Sooner Athletic Conference for the fourth straight year, placing in a tie for third with a 5-2-2 league mark. A Norman, Oklahoma native, Holladay came to MACU after serving as a Physical Therapist Technician for Therapy in Motion out of Norman. Holladay pursued a career in physical therapy after a collegiate soccer playing career at NCAA Division I North Carolina-Asheville. In his two seasons with the Bulldogs, the goalkeeper appeared in three matches and two starts, amassing a 1-1 record and a 1.66 goals allowed average while making eight saves on a .667 save percentage. Holladay also served as a campus recreation worker, where he promoted, coordinated and participated in student intramural events while also becoming CPR/AED certified. In June of 2026, Holladay was elevated to the Director of Goalkeepers role for the Oklahoma Celtic after serving as a Goalkeepers Coach from 2024-26. Holladay served as the Goalkeepers Coach for Sporting Oklahoma from 2021 to 2023 and also served as the Assistant Coach for the Norman High School girls' soccer team in 2021 He was also an Assistant Coach and Goalkeepers Coach for the Norman North High School boys and girls soccer in 2024. During his high school playing career at Norman High School, the Team Captain helped lead the Tigers to the 2018 6A State Tournament as well as competed for the Oklahoma Energy FC Central '00 club team.
