Bill Mandigo
Head Coach
Bill Mandigo joined the Middlebury athletics staff in 1988 when he was named the head coach of the women’s ice hockey team. He was later named the head women’s golf coach in the fall of 2008, serving in that role until 2023. Ashley Salerno
Assistant Coach
Salerno was a three-year member of the womens hockey team at Amherst. She helped lead her team to a pair of trips to the NESCAC Finals, advancing to the NCAA Quarterfinals in 2012. She was an all-conference selection, a two-time member of the All-NESCAC Academic team, while serving as a captain in 2013. Salerno scored 13 goals and assisted on 29 other for 42 points in 80 games on the Amherst blue line. Salerno transferred to the University of Vermont for her senior season, following her former head coach at Amherst. She played in 35 of 36 games as a senior, ranking sixth on the team with 12 assists. She has worked as a coach with the USA Hockey Regional and National Development Camps, the Vermont Stars, the Burlington Amateur Hockey Association and the Green Mountain Development Camp. She also attended the Division I Final Four Womens Hockey Coaching Symposium in March of 2014. The Brunswick, Maine native played hockey at North Yarmouth Academy, captaining the hockey and lacrosse teams during her senior year.
