Midland University Men's Wrestling

Vest earned his bachelor's degree from Missouri Valley College in mathematics and secondary education in 2001 where he was a four-time NAIA Wrestling All-American, three-time National Finalist and 1996 National Champion at 118 pounds. He also attended Oklahoma State University. He helped lead NAIA wrestling powerhouse Missouri Valley College to two national team titles and three runner-up finishes.  In his first season at Midland, Vest led the Warriors to an eighth-place finish at the NAIA National Championships. Antonio Barber enters his 2nd season with the Warrior wrestling program.Before Midland Barber spent 5 seasons coaching at his Alma mater Dana College where he helped the Vikings to a Team National Title,Team Academic National Title as well 5 GPAC conference titles and 2 regional titles. During his coaching career Barber has helped in the development of 31 NAIA All-Americans, 2 NAIA National Champions, as well as 16 Academic All-Americans. He also has worked with and helped coach Nebraska's state freestyle and greco dual team. Along with his other duties Barber will also fill the role as recruiting coordinator for the Men's program as well as help assist with the women's program.
