Andrew Hauk
Head Coach
Andrew Hauk is in his fourth season as head men's lacrosse coach at Misericordia University. The third head coach in the history of the program, he led the Cougars to a trip to the MAC Freedom Semifinals in each of his first three seasons. The Cougars placed eight players on the All-MAC Freedom team in 2023, five players in 2024, and six players in 2025. Previously, Hauk spent two seasons as head coach at his alma mater, Plattsburgh State where he coached two All-SUNYAC performers and the team earned a cumulative GPA of 3.17 during his tenure. In addition, he served as an assistant coach at the University of Scranton for three seasons and guided the Royals to three consecutive Landmark Conference tournament berths. Prior to Scranton, Hauk spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Western Connecticut State University. Hauk earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Plattsburgh and served as a volunteer assistant coach with the team in 2015. Hauk played two seasons at Lycoming before transferring to Plattsburgh where he went 13-6 with a 7.84 goals against average while leading the team to the SUNYAC championship game as a senior. On the field, Hauk enjoyed a standout 2014 season in goal for Plattsburgh State, going 13-6 with a .552 save percentage and a 7.84 goals-against average while backstopping the Cardinals to their second-ever SUNYAC championship game appearance.

Jim Ricardo
Head Coach
Jim Ricardo is currently in his third year as the Assistant Athletics Director and Director of Compliance for the 27 varsity sports at Misericordia University. Ricardo was the head men’s lacrosse coach at Misericordia University for 20 years. He led the Cougars to a winning record for nine straight seasons and finished with over 155 wins. Under Coach Ricardo, the Cougars finished 13-4 in 2017 and claimed their first MAC Freedom title and become the first MAC Freedom team to win an NCAA Tournament game. In addition, Ricardo was named the 2017 MAC Freedom Coach of the Year and went over 100 wins for his career. In 2018, the Cougars set a school record for wins with a 14-2 mark while finishing second in the MAC Freedom. MU has made two appearances in the ECAC Championships. Before making the transition to the MAC Freedom in 2009, Ricardo led the Cougars to the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference playoffs three times in his first six seasons. A graduate of Cortland State University, he previously served as an assistant coach at Virginia Wesleyan College. During his collegiate playing career, he helped Cortland to a berth in the NCAA Championships. Prior to that, he was a member of two national championship teams at Herkimer Community College where the team set a national record with 59 consecutive wins. Ricardo also coached the United States U19 team to the silver medal at the 2010 FIL Festival in Manchester, England.

Ryan Lanigan
Assistant Coach
Lanigan is in his second season as a mens lacrosse graduate assistant coach at Misericordia University. On the field, Lanigan was a standout at Lebanon Valley College as a long stick midfielder. He served as captain during his junior and senior seasons. Lanigan was a USILA All-American Honorable Mention as a long stick midfielder in 2014. He was an all-conference first team selection in 2013 and 2014. He left LVC as the program leader in ground balls and caused turnovers. Lanigan ranked in the top-five nationally in caused turnovers in his final two seasons. Prior to joining the coaching staff at Misericordia, Lanigan was an assistant coach and defensive coordinator at Assumption College. During his only season, the team set a program record with nine wins and qualified for the NorthEast-10 Conference Playoffs for the second time in program history.
