Chris Wadas
Head Coach
Chris Wadas ’05 is in his 20th season as the head coach of cross country and track & field at Misericordia University. He has guided women’s cross country team to seven MAC championships (2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2023, 2024) and led the men’s cross country team to a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference title in his first season at the helm in 2006. The women’s track & field team has captured five MAC indoor titles (2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2022) and three MAC outdoor titles (2015, 2016, 2022). He has been named the MAC Coach of the Year 14 times and is a two-time Mideast Regional Women's Track & Field Coach of the Year. Wadas has coached three individual NCAA Champions along with multiple All-Americans and NCAA championships qualifiers. In 2013-14, Ashlee Ward to the NCAA Division III Indoor and Outdoor High Jump titles Juwan and Petties-Jackson won the national title in the indoor 200m in 2017. Wadas holds a Level 1 USATF Coaching Certification and achieved a USATF Level 2 in endurance training. He is a member of the Misericordia Athletics Hall of Fame and the Luzerne County Sports Hall of Fame. As a student-athlete, Wadas led the Cougars to four straight PAC cross country team titles and was a four-time team MVP. In addition, he was the Wendy’s Misericordia Athlete of the Year in 2003-04.

Logann Halloran
Assistant Coach
Halloran is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach with the Misericordia University cross country and track & field teams. A graduate of Northwest Missouri State University, he earned his bachelors degree in Corporate Recreation and Wellness. A four-year letterman, he competed in the pole vault, heptathlon and decathlon. As a senior, he finished sixth in the decathlon at the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association championships. His 6,639 is the sixth-highest decathlon total in school history and he has the fifth-highest heptathlon total with 4,708. Halloran is a native of Kansas City, MO and is studying for his masters degree in organizational management.

Rebecca Rhodes
Assistant Coach
Rhodes is in her first year as an assistant track and field coach at Misericordia University. Rhodes previously served as the assistant track and field coach at Moravian College where she helped coach both the men's and the women's outdoor track teams to a Landmark Conference Championship. She was part of a staff that was selected as the men's and the women's Landmark Coaching Staff of the Year. She primarily worked with the jumpers. She has coached at Lane Community College (OR), the Emerald Valley Track Club (OR) and the Salem Track Club (OR). A Portland, OR native, she received a Bachelor's of Science in Sociology with minors in Business and Economics from the University of Oregon. Rhodes was a two-time Pac 12 scorer, an NCAA Regional Qualifier and is ranked in the top 10 all-time for indoor and outdoor short hurdles.
