Michael Wyatt
Head Coach
Missouri Baptist University announced the hiring of Michael Wyatt as head coach of its men's and women's golf programs. Wyatt brings more than three decades of experience in coaching, teaching, and golf operations to Missouri Baptist. He is a Class A member of the PGA of America, elected in March 2001, and has worked extensively in player development across private, semi-private, public, and retail golf environments. "What excites us most about Coach Wyatt is his ability to teach," said Director of Athletics Jeff Fore. "He understands that great golf programs are built through daily instruction, purposeful practice, and individual development. His teaching philosophy will help our golfers grow technically, mentally, and competitively." In his coaching career, Wyatt has focused on individualized player development, combining on-course instruction with data-driven evaluation and structured practice plans. He has experience working with athletes of all skill levels, emphasizing course management, short game performance, and competitive preparation. Wyatt has also demonstrated a strong background in junior and collegiate pipeline development. His experience includes conducting annual junior golf camps, implementing introductory programs for new golfers, and developing college-preparatory training models for middle school and high school players. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Lindenwood University and is currently completing a Master of Arts in Education. Wyatt also holds multiple professional certifications, including U.S. Kids Golf Certified Instructor, American Development Model (ADM) certification, and specialized training in teaching, coaching, and club fitting. At Missouri Baptist, Wyatt will oversee all aspects of the men's and women's golf programs, including recruiting, player development, practice and competition planning, and program administration.

Marc Lillibridge

ST. LOUIS — Missouri Baptist University has named Marc Lillibridge as the Head Football Coach, Director of Athletics Jeff Fore announced on Thursday, Dec. 18. Lillibridge brings more than two decades of experience spanning professional football, collegiate coaching, and player personnel evaluation. He takes the reins of the program after serving as linebackers coach at Missouri Baptist during the 2025 season. "We are excited to welcome Coach Lillibridge to Missouri Baptist University," said President Dr. Keith Ross. "He brings a combination of collegiate coaching experience, professional playing experience at the highest level, and a proven ability to lead and mentor young men. Most importantly, his vibrant Christian faith and commitment to developing student-athletes in mind, body, and spirit closely align with MBU's mission and values. We are confident he will make an immediate and lasting impact on our football program as well as our campus community." "Coach Lillibridge's remarkable background as an NFL player, talent evaluator, and executive, combined with his outstanding leadership as our linebackers coach last season, makes him the ideal choice to lead our program," said Director of Athletics Jeff Fore. "Beyond his football expertise, Marc is deeply committed to developing young men of character and faith, guiding our student-athletes to excel not only on the field but also as men for Christ. At Missouri Baptist, Lillibridge handled all linebacker position meetings and assisted with weekly defensive game planning. He coached the program's second-leading tackler in school history and helped guide two linebackers to Heart of America Athletic Conference Second Team honors. Lillibridge most recently served as General Manager and Director of Player Personnel in the XFL/UFL from 2022-25. He was the Director of Player Personnel for the Houston Roughnecks during the 2023 XFL season, helping assemble a roster that won the South Division with a 7-3 overall record and a 6-0 mark in divisional play. In 2024, following the merger of the XFL and USFL, he was named General Manager of the San Antonio Brahmas, leading the team to an XFL Division championship, a playoff victory, and a runner-up finish in the UFL Championship Game. During his professional personnel career, Lillibridge drafted and signed complete rosters, built teams with minimal returning players, and oversaw all aspects of football operations. Twelve players from his XFL rosters returned to NFL training camps, with five earning spots on NFL practice squads. Lillibridge also has extensive NFL front office experience, including roles with the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs. As Assistant Director of Pro Personnel with Green Bay from 2000-05, he was part of a front office that posted a 48-20 regular-season record and won three consecutive NFC North Division championships. The Packers recorded the NFL's best regular-season record in 2002. He later served as a scouting consultant for the Chiefs during the 2005 season. At the collegiate level, Lillibridge coached linebackers at Washington University in St. Louis from 2021–22, helping guide the Bears to a 7-3 record, a third-place conference finish, and a Division III bowl appearance. A former NFL player, Lillibridge played from 1995 to 2000 with the New Orleans Saints, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and Philadelphia Eagles, and with the Amsterdam Admirals of the World League of American Football, where he racked up 72 tackles in 1997. He also played at Iowa State University, where he was a team captain, an All-Big Eight linebacker in 1994, and an Academic All-Big Eight selection. "I am blessed to be selected as the head football coach of Missouri Baptist University," said Lillibridge. "I am encouraged to boldly proclaim my faith in Jesus while guiding the future leaders of this country on the gridiron. Lillibridge holds a Master of Business Administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University and a bachelor's degree in English from Iowa State University. He is a member of the Professional Football Writers Association and has served on the board of the National Football Foundation.

Jason Burianek
Head Coach
Burianek graduated and became a Graduate Assistant coach. Shortly after joining the Colorado coaching staff, Burianek left Boulder to take-on his first full-time coaching staff position at McKendree University. Coach Burianek spent 2004 through 2007 as the Wide Receivers and Tight Ends Coach at McKendree before taking over as the Offensive Coordinator at Belleville West High School in 2007 through 2008. Burianek returned to McKendree as the Quarterback's Coach in 2009 through 2010, but stayed just one season before returning to Belleville West as the Offensive Coordinator in 2011. In 2012, Coach Burianek went back to McKendree as the Defensive Backs/Special Teams Coordinator before becoming the first coach in Missouri Baptist history in March of 2013. In his first season at the helm of Missouri Baptist, Burianek guided the team to a 1-10 record. He gained his first career win in the process, a 34-10 victory over Haskell Indian Nations on Nov. 1, 2014. This win also happened to be on the University's first football homecoming. After getting shutout 77-0 at the hands of NCAA D-I Southeast Missouri State, the team dropped it's next eight before grabbing its first win. The team played one of the toughest schedules in the NAIA in 2014 including three, NCAA D-I FCS opponents, two nationally-ranked NAIA opponents and two NCAA Division II institutions. Recruiting Area: Metropolitan Missouri (Columbia, Kansas City, Jefferson City, St. Louis), Florida, Junior Colleges Coach Charles Coe is in his second season as the Offensive Coordinator after helping to get the program off the ground in 2014. Coach Coe comes to Missouri Baptist with over 40 years of coaching experience at every level of football. Coach Coe has been a head coach at Alabama State, an assistant with the Oakland Raiders and an assistant at nine-NCAA Division I programs. Coach Coe served as an assistant coach at nine NCAA Division I programs, including Mizzou, Louisville, Tennessee, Memphis, Kansas State, Pittsburgh, Iowa, Cincinnati and Ball State. In 2003, he was named the head coach at Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) member Alabama State. He guided the Hornets to a SWAC Eastern Division title and was named an Eddie Robinson Award finalist, which honors the top coach in NCAA Division I FCS. The next season, the Hornets repeated as Eastern Division champions and Coe was again named an Eddie Robinson Award finalist. He was also named SWAC Coach of the Year after the Hornets completed a 10-2 season. In four seasons at the helm of the program, Coe compiled a 29-18 record and produced current NFL quarterback Tavaris Jackson. From 2007-2008, he was the wide receivers coach for the Oakland Raiders. During his time at the professional level, he was invited to be the receivers coach at the Senior Bowl All-Star Game held in Mobile, Ala. Coe starred in both baseball and football during his playing days. He was an All-American shortstop at Kansas State University and was drafted in the first round of the Major League Baseball draft in 1971 by the Detroit Tigers. He played two seasons in that organization before joining the St. Louis Football Cardinals in 1974. Coes son, Michael, played at the University of Arkansas for three seasons, before transferring to play for his father at Alabama State. Michael was a fifth-round draft pick by the Colts and won a Super Bowl ring in 2011 with the New York Giants. Coach Coe is the grandfather of Rodney Coe, who was named a US Army All-American in 2010 after a standout career at Edwardsville High School. Rodney currently plays for the Iowa State Cyclones. Recruiting Area: Central & Northern Illinois (North of I-72) Elbert Kern has been with Missouri Baptist as the running backs coach and Academic Success Coordinator since 2014. Prior to his time at MBU, Kern spent five seasons as the Head Coach at Springfield Southeast High School (Ill.). He took the helm in 2009 and led the Southeast Spartans football program to its best record since 2002 with a 4-5 record. Before Southeast, Kern led Chicago Academy High School, a second year varsity program, to a 6-3 Conference Co-Championship in 2007 and repeated in 2008. Kerns commitment to helping youth was featured on the front page of the 2007 January issue of the Chicago Tribune for helping his team who went 0-9 in 2005 tackle their problems on and off the field while at Steinmetz Academic Centre. The Chicago Public School Board later presented Kern with the Recognition of Service Award for his hard work and dedication. The team went 10-2 in 2006 while Kern guided Steinmetz Academic Centre to its fourth conference title. That same year Steinmetz won the Chicago Divisional Title for the second time. Kern also guided Steinmetz to consecutive State Play-off births in 2003 and 2004. In 2001, Steinmetz was the Chicago Public League North Co-Conference Champions with a 7-2 record. In 2002, the National Statistician Poll ranked Steinmetz fourth in the Nation among all 6A. That same year, Steinmetz won the Chicago Big Shoulder Conference and Divisional Championship with a 12-1 record, which broke the schools All-Time record held by the 1977 team (8-1). Kern is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He played four years of football at North Park College. Kern led North Park in rushing yards with an average of 4.9 yards a carry in 1992. As a senior, Kern was named Team MVP. He graduated in 1993 with a major in Physical Education and received his Master of Arts Degree in Teacher Leadership from North Park University in 2003. He also served as Athletic Director, Dean of Students and Head Football Coach at Chicago Steinmetz and Chicago Academy High School. Kern is married with three sons and a daughter. Jordan Bowman is in his first season with MBU Football as the Offensive Line Coach and Recruiting Coordinator after a career that spans both high school and collegiate coaching experience. Coach Bowman was most recently at Civic Memorial High School in Bethalto, Ill., where he was the Offensive Line Coach and the Special Teams and Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. Bowman spent the previous two years at Lindenwood University-Belleville where he had the same responsibilities, except as the Defensive Line Coach. There, he helped the upstart Lynx program to two-consecutive four-win seasons. Bowman graduated from Milliken University in 2009 with a degree in Exercise Science. There, he played four years for the Big Blue and helped the defense to set a school record in interceptions (20 2008) and to a Top 20 finish in run defense. In 2011, Bowman received his masters in Kinesiology from Western Illinois University and worked as a Graduate Assistant as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for multiple programs. Recruiting Area: Missouri Boot Heel, California, California Junior College Michael Sweat has been the Strength and Conditioning Coach with Missouri Baptist football since 2014. Prior to his time at MBU, Sweat was an assistant on the staff of St. Augustine High School (Calif.) working with linebackers while also serving as the Special Teams Coordinator from 2002-2011. From 2001-2002, Sweat served as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at San Diego State University, where he specialized in movement and overall speed development for all sports. Currently, he serves as the President of Athletic Concepts, a company specializing in sports performance and nutrition counseling. Sweat is a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach and holds two Masters degrees (Education and Human Movement). Coach Sweat is married to wife, Marie. Dan Leslie has been the Director of Football Operations with Missouri Baptist since 2014. Coach Leslie brings with him seven years of Operational experience at the High School level working at Washington High School in Washington, Mo., where he was responsible for all travel, statistical data, media coordination and character development for players. Leslie has an Associates Degree in Paramedic Technology from East Central College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from William Jewell College, a Masters of Business Administration Degree from Williams Woods University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia. Leslie is responsible for coordinating all team travel, including charter bus transportation, hotel stays and meals for the team and coaching staff. Coach Leslie also works in conjunction with the Sports Information Department departments of the University to assist with team statistics and individual player performance evaluations. Leslie is also responsible for character development training for the players during the regular football. Leslie is married to his wife of 30 years and has two college aged children. In addition to coaching, Coach Leslie is a practicing attorney in Franklin County, Missouri. He is also a Municipal Judge for four cities and is a member of the Adjunct Teaching Staff at Missouri Baptist University serving the Union and Pacific, Mo., campuses.

Missouri Baptist University announced Roosevelt Peters as the new Head Men's Soccer Coach on Tuesday, Dec. 16. He comes to MBU after spending the last two seasons as an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Maryville University where he helped the team to a pair of NCAA Tournaments and a conference championship. “Coach Peters brings a proven record of success on the field and, just as importantly, a clear commitment to Christ and to mentoring young men with integrity and purpose,” said MBU President Dr. Keith Ross. “His leadership in previous positions demonstrates both competitive excellence and a heart for discipleship, and we are confident he will be a tremendous fit for MBU’s soccer program and Christ-centered mission.” “We are thrilled to welcome Roosevelt Peters as our new Head Men’s Soccer Coach,” said Jeff Fore, Director of Athletics. “Coach Peters is a great mission fit who brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record. His passion for player development, commitment to academic and athletic excellence, and dynamic leadership style make him the perfect fit to lead our program into its next chapter. We are confident that under his guidance, our student-athletes will continue to thrive both on and off the field.” Peters is coming off a 2025 campaign in which he helped the Maryville men's soccer program win the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament Championship and post a 12-6-3 overall record. In his first season with the Saints in 2024, the team went 11-5-6 overall, advancing to the GLVC title match before falling in a penalty-kick shootout to the first-seeded Lewis University Flyers. In two seasons, he helped Maryville to a 23-11-9 overall record and a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances. “Working with Coach Roosevelt Peters for the past two seasons has been a great experience,” said Maryville Head Men’s Soccer Coach Adam Hall. “He’s very passionate about the sport, and during his time at Maryville, he has taken on every challenge with determination and leadership. Coach Peters has helped our program continue its success, and I look forward to watching his career progress at Missouri Baptist.” In 2023, he assisted Oklahoma Wesleyan University in winning both the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championships. The program posted an overall record of 17-2-5 and appeared in the NAIA National Tournament semifinals. Additionally, he and the entire staff earned the NAIA Men's Central Staff of the Year. In three seasons with the Eagles, Peters helped them to three conference regular-season championships, three conference tournament championships, and three NAIA National Tournament appearances, while ranking in the NAIA's Top 25 in all three campaigns. Before his time at OKWU, Peters was named the youngest head coach in NAIA history at Bacone College in Muskogee, Okla. He spent two seasons as the men's and women's head coach and led a rebuilding process for a program that had only one player on the men's team and four on the women's squad. Within a year, the men at Bacone had 26 players, and the women had 16. Both programs achieved their first wins in over two years after hiring Peters. He sharpened his coaching by participating in the UPSL Division 2 with Side FC 92 in the summer of 2020, while also serving as head coach for Muskogee Soccer Club U19 (currently the WSA South 02 boys). Peters helped guide the team to a runner-up in the second division of the Oklahoma Premier Championship. Peters also coached the 2010 boys at Northeast Oklahoma Futball Club (NEOFC) in Owasso in 2021. He went on to win the Red River, National Premier League (NPL) U13 Division 2 Championship in the 2022-23 season. Peters later received a promotion to Program Director. He also served as an adjunct coach at various high schools in Oklahoma, including Bartlesville Girls, Oologah Boys, Oologah Girls, and Edison Preparatory Girls. Peters earned his MBA in Organizational Leadership in 2023 from Oklahoma Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bacone College in 2019. He also holds a USSF B National Coaching License. He is originally from Abuja, Nigeria, where he represented the National team at the U13 and U15 levels in international competitions. He also attended the Pre-Olympic Camp for Nigeria. Peters is the son of James Peters, a renowned FIFA and CAF Coaching Accessor and Instructor who has coached at the highest level with the Nigerian National teams. He is married to his wife, Anika-Michiko, and has a three-year-old son, Rafael.

Max Ruhl
Head Coach
Max Ruhl was hired as the Missouri Baptist University Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach on Aug. 13, 2020. He became the fourth head coach in program history. In his time at MBU, Ruhl has taken MBU to the NAIA National Tournament three times and became the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season and tournament champions in 2023 and 2024. In his first year at Missouri Baptist, Ruhl led the team to the KCAC Conference Championship Semi-Finals. MBU also made the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Academic Merit Squad twice (2021 & 2022). Throughout his time at MBU, Ruhl has produced 11 NAIA All-Americans, 16 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll students, 27 KCAC and 8 HAAC All-Conference Players, 20 NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athletes, three KCAC Defensive Players of the Year, and two KCAC Players of the Year. He was also honored to be named KCAC Coach of the Year two years in a row in 2022 and 2023. A graduate of NCAA DII Ohio Valley University, a private, Christian college in Vienna, West Virginia, Ruhl was a member of OVU’s first-ever men’s lacrosse team and later returned to the university as the inaugural head women’s lacrosse coach in 2015. Leading the brand-new program to its most successful season in school history, Ruhl was the recipient of Ohio Valley University Athletics’ Coach of the Year Award in 2018-19. His 2019 squad led the Great Midwest Athletic Conference in draw controls per game (15.80), while individually, the Fighting Scots boasted the conference leader in caused turnovers, ground balls and draw controls/game and had a trio of players rank in the league’s Top 10 in goals per game. During his time with the Scots, Ruhl led three individuals to the all-conference team, five to the academic all-conference team and the team was named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad in 2018. Ruhl also participated on the IWLCA Top 25 and NCAA DII Top 20 Coaches’ Polls. While at Ohio Valley, Ruhl also bolstered his resume in higher education spending nearly two years as Associate Director of Admissions, two years as an adjunct professor and two more as Director of Sports Management. Following the 5+ years at his alma mater, Ruhl spent 2019-20 as head women’s lacrosse coach at NCAA DIII Gordon College, a nationally-ranked, Christian, liberal arts institution in Wenham, Massachusetts. While at Gordon, Ruhl had 11 individuals selected to the Academic All-CCC list. He also coached with the REV Lacrosse Club out of the greater Boston area. REV is nationally known for producing strong and confident, young women, as well as producing some of New England’s premier tournaments and showcases. Other related work experience for Ruhl includes serving as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant at Frostburg State University and assistant coach for Ohio University’s Division I men’s lacrosse club team, where he got his start in coaching. Ruhl graduated from Ohio Valley University with his B.A. in Wellness and Health Sciences in 2011 and proceeded to pursue a pair of master’s degrees. He graduated with a Master’s in Recreation and Sport Science from Ohio University in 2012 and worked towards his MBA at Frostburg State. Kelly Howell
Head Coach
Kelly Howell was announced as the fourth Missouri Baptist University Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach in program history in June 2024. In Howell's first season with MBU, he was able to bring the Spartans to a 7-8 record with an impressive 6-3 for the conference. Howell comes to MBU with over 16 years of experience, most recently as the Offensive Coordinator at NCAA Division II school Adams State University. In his two years with the Grizzlies, his primary duties included recruiting, formulating practice plans, and designing offensive and defensive schemes. “We are incredibly excited to bring Kelly into the fold of what we are doing here at Missouri Baptist,” said MBU Director of Athletics Jeff Fore. “He comes in with proven, high-level lacrosse experience, and a track record for developing high-level student-athletes.” Before Adams State, Howell was the head coach at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz., organizing and implementing all facets of the men’s lacrosse program for two seasons. He helped lead the Lumberjacks to a 15-9 overall record from 2022-23, including a 9-4 record and a 4-0 division record in his final campaign. Howell was additionally the offensive coordinator for the Perry Pumas and Arizona Hot Sauce club teams for eight seasons and the Arizona Lacrosse League Vice Commissioner. “I am very excited to be here to help our men's lacrosse team achieve heights and goals they have never achieved before,” said Howell. “The vision and plan that Jeff and Missouri Baptist University have will grow these players into great men and give them an incredible experience. I am privileged to be able to help guide and build this vision and be of service to these young men in their journey here at MBU.” A native of New Orleans, La., Howell holds an associate degree from Scottsdale Community College in Arizona and is a 2006 graduate of Bryman College in Phoenix, Ariz. with a degree in Medical Radiography. Missouri Baptist University Head Football Coach Marc Lillibridge announced the hiring of Chuck Case as the Spartans' Run Game Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach in January 2026. Case joins the Missouri Baptist staff after spending the 2025 season at Northwestern University as an offensive assistant working with the offensive line and tight ends. While with the Wildcats, he was responsible for opponent film breakdown, weekly run-game drawings, scouting reports and tendencies, and organizing individual and developmental periods. He also led scout team defense, coordinated summer Football 101 meetings, and produced weekly blitz bands, control sheets, and opponent cutups. Prior to Northwestern, Case served as offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Nichols College from 2024–25. In that role, he organized and led offensive installations, managed offensive practice periods, and developed weekly game plans. He was responsible for the entire offensive line unit and played a key role in recruiting efforts across New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and out-of-region areas. Case also spent two seasons at South Dakota State University from 2022–24 as an offensive quality control coach, working with the offensive line. During his tenure, the Jackrabbits won back-to-back FCS National Championships and Missouri Valley Football Conference titles. His responsibilities included leading developmental offensive line meetings, organizing daily practice plans and individual periods, managing offensive student assistants, and overseeing all DVSport operations for the offensive staff. He also assisted in recruiting in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska. While at South Dakota State, Case was part of an offense that led the nation in red-zone, third-down, and fourth-down efficiency. He worked with the 2023 Remmington Award winner Gus Miller and helped develop linemen Mason McCormick, a 2024 fourth-round NFL Draft pick, and Garret Greenfield, a 2024 undrafted free agent. Case brings experience across multiple levels of college football and has extensive familiarity with video breakdown, recruiting platforms, and offensive organization tools, including DVSport, Hudl, ARMS, JumpForward, Zcruit Pro, Quick Draw, and the Microsoft Office Suite. He will oversee the Spartans' offensive line and coordinate the run game as Missouri Baptist prepares for the upcoming season.

Jordan Osborne

Jordan Osborne is in his second season as defensive backs coach at Missouri Baptist in 2025. Osborne brings professional football experience from the United Football League (UFL), where he worked from 2023–24 as a combine operator and drill instructor. In that role, he coordinated player check-ins, warmups, drill setup, and timing for the 40-yard dash, 3-cone, and jumping events, while also instructing wide receiver and defensive back drills. He also served as a communications assistant with the St. Louis Battlehawks from 2023–24, supporting press conferences, press box operations, and game day communications. His responsibilities included managing credentials, updating media on injuries and statistics, and assisting with VIP and field access.

Jamie Martin

Jamie Martin joined the Missouri Baptist University football staff in 2026, bringing a decorated playing career and extensive coaching background to the Spartans' program. Martin adds experience at the collegiate, professional, and prep levels, with a resume that includes quarterback development, offensive strategy, and program leadership. He comes to MBU after spending the 2025 season with the Weber State coaching staff as an offensive analyst. A program legend and Hall of Fame member, Martin assisted with offensive planning and quarterback development after spending the previous two seasons as the head coach of the Ogden Jets, a post-prep school football team. Martin also spent 10 seasons as the Offensive Coordinator at Parkway West High School, from 2009-2019. Before entering the coaching ranks, Martin authored one of the most accomplished playing careers in Weber State and Big Sky Conference history. He played quarterback for the Wildcats from 1989–92, earning two All-America honors and two Big Sky Conference MVP awards. He helped rewrite the school's record books and brought national recognition to the program. Martin remains Weber State's all-time leader in total offense and ranks fifth in Big Sky history with 12,287 career yards. He is also second in conference history in career passing yards and threw 87 touchdowns during his Wildcat career. In 1991, Martin won the Walter Payton Award, presented annually to the top player in Division I-AA/FCS football. He is the only player in Weber State history to receive the honor and one of just 10 players from the Big Sky Conference to earn the award. That season, he led the nation in passing yards and total offense, throwing for more than 4,000 yards and 35 touchdowns. He also set a school record that still stands with 624 passing yards in a single game, the second-most in Big Sky history. When his collegiate career concluded in 1992, Martin held 14 Big Sky single-game, season or career passing records. He guided the Wildcats to their second NCAA playoff appearance in 1991 and finished his career as the Division I-AA all-time leader in passing yards and total offense. Following his college career, Martin spent 16 seasons in the National Football League. He appeared in 53 career games with the St. Louis Rams, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New Orleans Saints, providing depth, experience, and leadership at quarterback. Martin's legacy at Weber State has been recognized with numerous honors. He was inducted into the Weber State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2000 and the Big Sky Conference Hall of Fame in 2023. In 2014, he was ranked ninth on the Big Sky's list of the 50 Greatest Male Athletes of all time and became the first athlete in Weber State history, in any sport, to have his jersey retired.

Louis Findley
Coach
Louis Findley joined the Missouri Baptist football staff in spring 2018 as the defensive line coach before transitioning to receivers coach in fall 2018, and later becoming the running backs coach. Findley brings a rich background in both coaching and athletic leadership. Prior to joining MBU, he spent seven years as head coach and athletic director at Cleveland NJROTC High School in St. Louis, Mo., and also coached at John F. Kennedy High School (2008–10) and McCluer South-Berkeley High School (2007). In recognition of his coaching excellence, Findley received the Semper Fidelis Football Coach Award from the Glazier Coaching Clinics in February 2017.

Sam Shreffler
Coach
Sam Shreffler is in his fourth season as an assistant coach with Missouri Baptist football and his second working with the tight ends. A former Spartan offensive lineman, Shreffler played at MBU from 2020–22 before joining the coaching staff in 2023. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in sport management at Missouri Baptist.
