Tom Campolettano
Head Coach
Campolettano, affectionately known as "Campy," completed his eleventh season as the leader of the Lions women's lacrosse program. Entering the 2016-17 season, Campolettano and the Lions boast a 96-77-1 overall record with a win percentage of .551. Since starting the program in its inaugural 2006 season, Campolettano has brought the Lions forward in leaps and bounds including a record-setting 2010 season, where the women finished with a 15-2 overall record and narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. The 2016 season saw the Lions win 11 games, matching the second-highest win total in program history. Molloy competed well with the emergence of freshman midfielder Brianna Wilson, who was one of six All-ECC award-winners for the maroon and white at the end of the year. All-Conference First Team award-winners Cooper Sesselman and Chelsea Bauer were also IWLCA All-North Region Team members for the Lions in a run to the ECC semifinals. There, the maroon and white produced a magical comeback to come from four goals down to tie top-seeded Dowling College with just under two-and-a-half minutes to play in the contest. Under his guidance, a number of student-athletes have been named to the All-East Coast Conference ledger, several more than once. Three have been named to the All-ECC preseason squad, and eleven different players have been recognized as Intercollegiate Womens Lacrosse CoachesAssociation All-East Region honorees for a total of 16 times. Furthermore, two of his players have been voted to the WomensLacrosse.com All-America second-team. As a team, the Lions have been named an IWLCA Academic Squad in six different years. In 2013, his team was recognized as an IWLCA Merit Team -- being only one of three teams honored. The team was also recognized as the first academic team by the ECC with the highest GPA amongst all women's lacrosse squads in the conference an award they have now won twice. Prior to starting up the womens lacrosse program at Molloy, Campolettano spent seven years as the head coach of the girls lacrosse team at Manhasset High School. During his time with the Indians, Campolettano compiled an impressive 110-22-4 overall record, while garnering the Nassau County Coach of the Year Award in 2001. He also earned Newsday Nassau County Coach of the Year laurels in 2003 and 2004. In addition, Campolettano guided his squad to three straight Nassau County and Long Island Small School Championships. In 2003, his Manhasset team won the New York State Small School Championship. Aside from coaching, Campolettano also served as the Vice President of the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation from 2000-03 before becoming President during 2003-05. He is currently the Womens Lacrosse Hall of Fame Chairperson as well as a voting member for the mens Hall of Fame nominating committee. He is also currently a member of the NCAA Division II Regional Womens Lacrosse Committee. He has been on the LIMLF Board of Directors since 1996 and is currently the 2nd Vice President. He was a member of the NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse National Committee and currently is a member of the Division II All-American Committee. He served as the Chairperson of the same committee from 2008-2011. In 2012, Campolettano was inducted into the Manhasset Lacrosse Hall of Fame for his dedication and contributions to the program. On February 8, 2014, Campolettano was inducted into the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation Hall of Fame. On June 10 2015, he was honored by the Nassau County Lacrosse Officials as their Man of the Year. Campolettano currently resides in Hicksville, N.Y. He has four children and his daugther Celia was a member of the women's lacrosse team at Molloy from 2009-2012. Emily Pepe
Head Coach
Emily Pepe joined the Lions as the head coach of the women's lacrosse program ahead of the 2023 season. She enters her fourth season in 2026. The Lions won the program's first-ever East Coast Conference Championship in 2025 after a season of resiliency. Beginning the season 1-8, Pepe's squad rallied together for seven-straight wins to end the regular season and won a share of the ECC's Regular Season Championship. The history-making run began with a 16-15 victory over Roberts Wesleyan in the ECC Semifinal, snapping a nine-game losing streak against the Redhawks. Molloy would then top Mercy for the second time in 2025 to take home the ECC Championship and play in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in the program's history. Coaching Record (2023-Pres.) 30-22 (.577) Conference Tournament Appearances 3 All-Conference Selections 26 All-Region Selections (IWLCA) 4 In her first season, the women's lacrosse program made dramatic strides, putting up a 12-5 record that included a program-record 11-straight wins. The Lions took home the Attacker (Megan Rugolo) and Midfielder (Amanda Weber) of the Year and Pepe was awarded Coach of the Year. In total, Pepe has guided the Lions to three-straight appearances in the East Coast Conference Championship and oversaw 20 All-Conference selections, including three major award winners. Prior to Molloy, she spent two seasons at the helm of the women's lacrosse program at DeSales University, where she led the Bulldogs to MAC Freedom Conference Tournament appearances. Pepe spent four seasons as an assistant coach at New York Tech, helping the Bears to a 45-16 record and a perennial contender in the East Coast Conference. The East Quogue native was an inaugural member of the Jacksonville University women's lacrosse team before spending three seasons playing for Sacred Heart University. With the Pioneers, she recorded 88 assists, the second-highest in the program's history, as well as 77 goals for 165 points. Pepe was named All-Northeast Conference First Team in both 2011 and 2012 and is the program's single-game assists record. Upon graduate, she remained with the team as a graduate assistant coach.
