In Sims first year the Scots turned in a runner up finish at the Midwest Conference Championships, their highest finish since the team won the title in 2002. The squad also netted three all-conference players that year, the most for the Scots in more than 10 years. Monmouth turned in another second-place finish in 2016 with a program-record score for 54 holes and continued their four-year string of all-conference performers, giving Sims five all-conference golfers in three seasons.   In just three years the Scots have rewritten the record book. In addition to setting the programs 54-hole team record at the league championships, team also bettered the 18-hole team record three times during the 2016 fall season and shattered the 36-hole record the same season. Individually, Sims Scots have bettered the previous individual 36-hole score three times. Sims graduated from Monmouth in 2005 with a degree in sports management and later earned her Masters from Western Illinois University.
