Lee LaBreche
Head Coach
LaBreche starts his third season as the Head Golf Coach for the Montana Tech Orediggers after being hired as the assistant in the spring of 2012. Native to Butte and a Butte Central HS grad, LeBreche has coached in southwest Montana since 1985 as an assistant football coach. LeBreche is a single digit handicap golfer for over 20 years and served as the president of the Butte Country Club. LeBreche is the Butte-Silver Bow County Corner and has served in that position since 1996. LaBreche lives in Butte with his wife Kim and daughter Aleesha.

David Starcevich
Head Coach
Butte native David Starcevich joined his alma mater as Montana Tech's head men's and women's golf coach in August 2025. A five-year member of the Orediggers' golf team from 2013-18, Starcevich was a two-time Academic All-Frontier Conference honoree and helped Montana Tech to a handful of tournament victories. Starcevich has coached the golf team at Butte Central Catholic High School and serves on the Board of Directors at Butte Country Club. He works for the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow as a code enforcement officer. He graduated from Montana Tech in 2018 with a degree in occupational safety and health.

Mark Robertson
Coach
Mark Robertson joined the staff at Montana Tech as associate athletic director in October 2024. He oversees the daily operations of the athletic communications department, directing maintenance of GoDiggers.com, statistical recording, gameday operations, and facilities management. Robertson joins the Oredigger family with experience in both journalism and athletics administration. He was the director of sports information at NCAA Division III member University of Lynchburg in his home state of Virginia from 2017-2023, where he led the athletic communications department and managed NCAA compliance for the Hornets' 24 sports. The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association honored him with the NCAA Division III Excellence in Communications award in 2020 for his department's track & field coverage, and he was the 2022 Winter NCAA Division III and D3SIDA Recognition Award winner for portraying the Division III identity and student-athlete experience at Lynchburg. Robertson is an active member of College Sports Communicators, and he previously served on the organization's Diversity and Inclusion Committee and Young Professionals Committee. He also represented Lynchburg on the National Collegiate Equestrian Association's selection committee, the D3hoops.com women's basketball top 25 committee, and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association's weekly awards committee. Prior to Lynchburg, Robertson's journalism career included stops at the Lake County Leader in Polson, the Great Falls Tribune, and The News & Advance in Lynchburg, Va., where he covered sports, outdoors, and breaking news. He continues to write for a variety of publications. A 2013 graduate of Emory & Henry College in Emory, Va., Robertson majored in geography, history, and mass communications and was a member of the Wasps' baseball team. Outside of work, Robertson is a fan of baseball, board and card games, boating, hiking, live music, photography, and zymurgy. He considers himself a connoisseur of hot dogs and Reuben sandwiches. Originally from Roanoke, Va., Robertson holds an undergraduate degree from Emory & Henry and a master of business administration from Lynchburg. He lives in Uptown Butte with his blue heeler, Harvey.
