Krogol most recently guided the Mustangs to a 9-16-0 overall record in 2019-20. Remaining as one of the top academic teams in the athletics department, his squad had 13 collect SUNYAC Commissioner’s Academic Team accolades. His team was one of 14 athletic varsity squads at Morrisville State to post a combined GPA of over a 3.0. In his time on the bench, four have earned All-Conference accolades for the Mustangs, in one of the toughest leagues across Division III hockey. Prior to earning the head coaching roll in 2013, Krogol spent four seasons as assistant with the Mustang program, working specifically with the forwards and penalty kill, in addition to off-ice duties of recruiting throughout the Northeast and Canadian Territories, to go along with scouting, video analysis, academic coordination and strength training and development. Aside from coaching, Krogol also spearheaded several charity events and community service initiatives with the program, including awareness and fundraising campaigns for Autism Awareness and Special Olympics. Krogol played college hockey for ECAC West power Utica College as a forward from 2003 – 2007, serving as captain his senior season. In 78 games, he tallied 19 goals and 12 assists, as Utica made appearances in the ECAC West play-offs each season. In 2005 they captured the ECAC West regular season championship title. He earned his baccalaureate degree in management and marketing from Utica in 2007. Prior to joining the Pioneers, Krogol spent four seasons as a forward in the North American Hockey League (NAHL), a Tier II Junior A League, two seasons each with the Danville Wins and Soo Indians. The Livonia, Michigan native continues to be active in the community, serving as an instructor for various hockey clinics throughout the area, including the Blue Line Hockey School. He previously served as an instructor for the Heenan Hockey Schools in Utica and was an assistant coach in 2010 for the Empire State Games.

Tedd Fauss

Assistant Coach

Fauss spent seven years in the professional ranks with five different organizations in both the National Hockey League (NHL) and American Hockey League (AHL). After a stellar four-year playing career for the Clarkson Golden Knights, Fauss was signed by the NHLs Montreal Canadians following graduation in 1983, and spent the following three seasons with their AHL affiliates in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Sherbrooke, Quebec. He played for Sherbrooke when they won the AHLs Calder Cup in 1985. Fauss signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1986 and played the following two seasons with the Leafs and AHL Newmarket Saints before moving to the AHL Binghamton Whalers in 1988, playing in 53 games and recording 15 points. He closed out his career with a two-year stint with the Utica Bulldogs and the Utica Blizzard of the Colonial Hockey League (CHL), playing from 1993 to 1995. Fauss returned to his alma mater in 1991 to serve as the assistant coach of the Clinton High School hockey program until 1994 and later joined the Hamilton College hockey staff. View: | Desktop

Spencer Noyes

Assistant Coach

Noyes enjoyed a three year playing career for SUNY Potsdam as a forward where he earned State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Academic Team and Commissioners List honors, as well as the 2008 Coaches Award recognizing work ethic and dedication to the program. While at Potsdam, Noyes was involved in a variety of community service activities and extracurricular clubs and organizations, including the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Prior to playing with the Bears at Potsdam, Noyes was a forward with the Foxboro Stars for a season. Aside from his playing career, he has been active with camps and clinics, most recently at the Blue Line Hockey School at Morrisville State. A native of Oneida, Noyes received his Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental studies from Potsdam in December 2011. View: | Desktop
