Eric Mojock

Head Coach

Mojock enters his 10th season as the head mens and womens swimming and diving coach at Mount Union in 2016-17. Record-setting performances, conference champions, and national qualifiers have become the standard under Mojock. Over his career, Mojock has coached 215 individual/relay all-conference selections and six national qualifiers who earned 15 All-American honors. Mojock led the Purple Raiders to back-to-back Ohio Athletic Conference women's swimming and diving titles in 2015 and 2016 after palcing second in the conference each of the previous five seasons.  They are the first ever women's swimming team titles in school history. The efforts by he and his staff have been recognized by their peers as they have won OAC Coaching Staff of the Year honors three times (2010, 2012, 2015).  Mojock has coached two OAC Women's Swimmers of the Year (Courtney Gabel in 2013 and Dana Lautenschleger in 2016) and a two-time OAC Women's Diver of the Year (Mary Vallinger in 2008 and 2009) On the men's side, Mojock has led the Raiders to four straight second place finishes and coached Tyler Moore to OAC Men's Swimmer of the Year honors in 2014 and 2015 and Nathan Levengood to OAC Diver of the Year honors in 2015. His coaching style can be best described as technique first. A solid foundation of stroke technique combined with a strong swimming IQ will unlock the potential of swimmers at every level. Mojock earned bachelors and masters degrees at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa. While at Westminster, he was a four-year letterwinner, team captain, NCAA Division II All-American and spent two seasons as an assistant swim coach.  In 2014, Mojock was inducted into the Westminster Sports Hall of Fame. updated 6/1/16

Mike Greisl

Assistant Coach

Greisl is in his first year as an assistant swimming coach at Mount Union. Greisl is familiar with the program as he was a four-year letterwinner in the pool for the Purple Raiders. A five-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree, he is part of four school records in relay events along with the school record in the 200 Freestyle. A native of South Euclid, Ohio, and a graduate of Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School, he holds a bachelor's degree in Sport Business from Mount Union.

Cassandra Wendall

Assistant Coach

Wendall is in her first year as an assistant swimming coach at Mount Union. Wendall swam for four years at NCAA Division II Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio.  She was a member of the student-athlete advisory committee and graduated in 2014 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She served as an assistant swim coach at McCutcheon High School and Maverick Aquatics in Lafayette, Indiana.

Jeff Wojtowicz

Coach

Wojtowicz is in his 23rd year as the head coach of the Mount Union mens tennis program and 14th year as the head coach womens tennis coach. Wojtowicz has produced a 282-157 mark as Mount Unions mens head coach and an 171-88 record with the womens program.  Overall, Wojtowicz has a combined 453-245 record in charge of both programs.  Under Wojtowicz, the men's program matched the school-record for wins in a season (21) in 2009 while claiming both the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles to make the school's first appearance in the NCAA Tournament.  The Raiders also scored a post-season win in the first round. He has led the Purple Raiders to three OAC men's tennis titles in 2001, 2007, 2009 and was named OAC Coach of the Year in 2000 and 2009. The women's program has enjoyed similar success on the court, with its highest OAC finish since 2000 when the Raiders finished second in 2008.  After taking over program that had won just one match the previous season in 2004, Wojtowicz led the Raiders to seven-straight winning seasons and a school-record 17 wins in 2005. Aside from his duties on the tennis court, the 1984 Mount Union graduate is in his 31st season as an assistant football coach in charge of the defensive secondary. He has been a member of a football coaching staff that has produced a record 12 NCAA Division III National Championships (93, 96, 97, 98, 00, 01, 02, 05, 06, '08, '12, '15). He has been an instructor within the department of health and physical education and currently serves as the NCAA compliance director for the athletic department. In 2001, Wojtowicz earned the National Football Foundations Northeastern Ohio Assistant Coach of the Year Award. In 2004, he was named the OAC Football Co-Assistant Coach of the Year as voted on by the 10 head coaches in the league. Updated May 7, 2016
