Nassau Community College Men's Wrestling

Coach Maldarelli enters his role as Head Coach focused on elevating the program's recent momentum and fostering the total development of NCC wrestlers both on and off the mat. He brings a proven blend of technical wrestling expertise, strategic leadership, and an unwavering commitment to student-athlete success. Under his guidance, the program is primed to reach new heights in competitive excellence and character development. Maldarelli’s deep ties to the program began during his standout collegiate career at Nassau Community College. In 2012, he capped off a spectacular season by finishing as the NJCAA National Runner-Up, capturing individual All-American honors and powering NCC to a team National Championship. After earning his associate degree, Maldarelli received an athletic scholarship to compete at NCAA Division I Lock Haven University. Competing for the Bald Eagles, he quickly established himself on the national stage, qualifying for the NCAA Division I Championships and accumulating over 75 victories in just two seasons. Upon graduating from Lock Haven, Maldarelli returned to his roots in 2014, joining the Nassau Community College wrestling staff as an assistant coach. During his successful tenure on the staff, NCC solidified its status as a national powerhouse, capturing multiple NJCAA Team National Championships and consistently producing an elite crop of NJCAA All-Americans year after year.
