New Mexico Junior College Men's Golf

Berry became the NMJC golf coach in 2014.  Berry brings a unique background to the golf program.  He has approached golf from the perspective of a student athlete and a professional golfer. Berry has worked in the golf industry for over ten years. During the course of his career, he has taught, played, and coached the game of golf.  He combines his golf experience with his background in health and fitness. Berry graduated with honors from Colorado State University/Pueblo, with a BS in Exercise Science. His academic honors included CSU Male student athlete of the year, Capital One Academic All American, and three time academic all-conference selection from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.   While attending college, he was captain of the Mens golf team for two years.  As an Exercise Science major, he worked in tandem with college coaches to create and implement strength and conditioning programs for all athletic teams at CSU-Pueblo. After college, Berry was the assistant mens golf coach for CSU-Pueblo for a season, after which he joined a professional golf tour.  Berrys interest in coaching, fitness, and teaching inspired him to combine his skills and pursue a coaching career.  He is dedicated to helping athletes and individuals reach their health and fitness goals, as well as lead the NMJC Mens Golf team to their highest potential.
