Simms, who ran collegiately at University of Tennessee Chattanooga and North Greenville, graduated as a Crusader in the Spring of 2013.  As an athlete, Simms was awarded many honors including competing on a Southern Conference Conference Champion, Conference Carolinas Conference Champion and being named All-Conference three times. His place is currently cemented in the North Greenville record books as the record holder in the mens 800 meter dash and as a member of the Distance Medley Relay, 4x400 Relay and 4x800 relay teams. In addition to running for the Crusaders, Simms has worked for both the cross country and track and field teams for three seasons and will continue to work as an assistant coach for the North Greenville cross country program. A native of Murfreesboro, TN, Simms is married to Whitney Simms and the couple has one son, Cooper (2).

Stober is a former NGU cross country runner, who graduated with a degree in Sport Management in May of 2012. While working in the athletic department at North Greenville, Stober also assisted former head coach Michael Bayne with track and field, coaching the Crusaders in several field events. I am blessed to have this opportunity. I look forward to working along side Coach Simms to improve both the cross country and track and field programs, says Stober about this opportunity. I would like to thank Micah Sepko, Jan McDonald, and Dr. Epting for this opportunity. God has truly blessed me and I am grateful to be part of such a wonderful school and athletic department. Coach Stober resides in Taylors, South Carolina and attends Taylors First Baptist Church.
