Northeastern Junior College Men's Baseball

Bio Jordan Oseguera joined the Northeastern Junior College staff in 2025. In his first full season, the Plainsmen set the program’s single-season strikeout record and led the Empire Conference in ERA, walks, strikeouts, WHIP, and wins while finishing 10th in NJCAA Division I in strikeouts. Three pitchers earned All-Conference honors — Ondrej Vank, Logan Steckel, and Justin Dean — and Vank went on to pitch in the World Baseball Classic. The approach has been the same at every level Oseguera has coached: build the plan around the individual. Each pitcher is assessed on his own movement patterns, arm health, pitch characteristics, and competitive strengths, then given a program built specifically for him — delivery work, pitch design, arm care, and a game plan that fits who he is on the mound.  He came to Sterling with five seasons in professional baseball, spending 2016 through 2020 with the Los Angeles Angels as a pitching coach and analyst, developing arms from the Dominican Summer League through the major leagues and working directly with Shohei Ohtani, Garrett Richards, and Tyler Skaggs. His work in the club’s Performance Integration Department, tying biomechanics and pitch shape to workload decisions, contributed to a 53.5 percent reduction in Injured List days organization-wide. He previously spent six years in 3D motion capture labs with the National Pitching Association, coached collegiately at Vanguard University through three regional tournaments and an NCAA College World Series, and founded Pitching Systems, LLC in 2023, where he has developed pitchers from high school through the major leagues. He is also the director of Pitching for armcare.com which is a High-performance monitoring tool used by programs such as West Virginia, Florida, NC State And numerous others. He holds a Master of Coaching & Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Vanguard University, and is K-Vest and Rapsodo certified.
