Melissa Yeazell
Associate Head Coach
Melissa Yeazell joined the Northern Kentucky University women's golf program as an assistant coach in September of 2023. She brings a wealth of knowledge along with her as she is a former collegiate athlete, professional golfer, and high school golf coach. She most recently was the Princeton High School Varsity Boys & Girls golf coach since 2022. Additionally, Yeazell is the Tri-County Golf Ranch owner since 2015 where she manages all aspects of the facility including teaching, marketing, turf grass management, human resources, merchandising, tournament/even facilitation, social media, budgeting club fitting and club repair. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in sports management from Xavier University, graduating Magna Cum Laude and was a member of the women's golf team from 1997-2001. Yeazell was also a team captain from 1999-2001 and went on to earn her master's degree in business administration in 2007. Yeazell is a certified professional in instruction from the Pro Golfers Association (PGA) of America and has earned numerous accolades throughout her career. She was the SOPGA Ladies Champion in 2004, 2009, 2001 and 2022 and was the 2014 Bill Strausbaugh Award Winner. She also earned the 2012 Player Development Award Winner and was named to the Oak Hills High School Hall of Fame in 2009.

Daryl Landrum

Landrum is in his 17th season as Northern Kentucky University's men's golf coach and 14th year as the women's golf coach. This past season, Landrums men's team qualified for NCAA regional tournament play. For the mens team, it marked 14 years in a row that the Norse have competed in the postseason as a team. The women's team has had a player or team qualify 10 of the last 11 years. As the coach of the Norse, his teams have won eight Great Lakes Valley Conference championships, four Super Regional championships and had over 2,000 victories. Landrum has been named GLVC Coach of the Year nine times, including the 2011-12 season, and Regional Coach of the Year four times. From 2001 to 2005, Landrum coached four-time All-American Kim Keyer-Scott, who qualified for the NCAA II Championships as an individual in her final three seasons at NKU. In 2002, Landrum led the NKU women's team to the NCAA II East Regional championship. The Norse advanced to the NCAA national championships at Allendale, Mich., where they finished third in the nation. Landrum led the men's team to the NCAA Division II North Regional championship and a berth in the NCAA Division II championships in 2001. It marked the first time since 1996 NKU had advanced to the national finals. Landrum, a 1976 graduate of Grant County High School, played three years of golf at Campbellsville (Ky.) College and earned NAIA All-District honors in 1978 and '79. In addition, he was twice named Campbellsville's most valuable golfer. Landrum, a native of Crittenden, Ky., has been a member of the PGA for 15 years. He has won Junior Golf Leader for the state twice and was named Golf Professional of the Year for the Kentucky section in 2006. Landrum has also played a major role in organization of the Seven-Up Junior Golf Tour in Northern Kentucky.
