Northwest Nazarene University Men's Soccer

Dane Manley enters his 15th season as an assistant coach with the Nighthawks in the 2025-26 academic year. He serves as recruiting coordinator and co-director of camps for the men's soccer program.   Manley, who played as a defender and midfielder for Northwest Nazarene from 2007-09, earned his Masters degree in Special Education from NNU in 2015. He taught at a high school in the area for a number of years, and now owns and operates his own business.  

Alan Soto Ortiz joined the Northwest Nazarene men's soccer staff as a graduate assistant coach prior to the 2024 season. Soto Ortiz was a key midfielder for the Nighthawks program for two seasons in 2022 and 2023. During NNU's run to the NCAA DII Elite Eight in 2022, he played in 21 games with 20 starts and registered three goals and four assists, including scoring NNU's first goal in the 3-2 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills in the Sweet 16. In 2023, he was named Second Team All-GNAC after starting all 16 games and recording a goal and three assists. Prior to NNU, Soto Ortiz attended Santa Rosa Junior College for two seasons and was a JuCo All-American.

Leon Sitz joined the Northwest Nazarene athletic department prior to the 2024-25 academic year. Sitz serves the department in multiple capacities as a graduate assistant, working as a coach with the men's soccer program and an assistant in the athletic communications department. Within athletic communications, Leon organizes and supervises the GNAC Network live streams and assists with website management and other duties. The Brandenburg, Germany native came to Nampa following three seasons as a soccer student-athlete at Gonzaga, where he played for current NNU men's soccer head coach James Williamson when Williamson was an assistant with the Bulldogs. Sitz appeared in 40 matches with 23 starts in the midfield across his three seasons in Spokane, registering three goals and five assists. Prior to GU, he was a key contributor at Monroe College (N.Y.) in their undefeated 2019 season that culminated in an NJCAA National Championship.
