Northwestern College Women's Golf

Van Der Weide is in her fourth full season as the head women's golf coach after serving as an assistant for the fall season in 2012.  Family: husband-Michael Alma Mater (year): Otterbein University (2011) Playing Career: four-year letterwinner (2008-11)    two-time NCAA All-American    played on teams that qualified for the NCAA Championship 3x; finished in the top 10 3x    earned all-conference honors 4x    named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team in 2009-10    graduated with a degree in economics and a minor in math Coaching Experience:    2013 (spring)-present-head coach at NWC    2012 (Fall)-Assistant coach at NWC Team Accomplishments:   finished in the top five within the GPAC in three of the four years   back-to-back runner-up finishes within the conference (2013, 2014) I am really excited about continuing to work with the girls this year, commented Van Der Weide. They are all such hard workers and it truly is an honor to get to be their coach.
