Malory Nadrah

Head Coach

Malory Nadrah enters her second season as the head coach of the women's lacrosse program during the 2025-26 year.  During her inaugural season with Oberlin, Nadrah led the Crimson and Gold to an 8-9 overall record and 1-5 in conference play, producing two All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Second-Team honorees. Upon conclusion of the 2025 season, four athletes garnered College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District accolades, 13 athletes were named to the NCAC Dr. Gordon Collins Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll, eight athletes were selected for the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll, and the team earned the IWLCA Academic Honor Squad distinction.  Nadrah comes to Oberlin after serving as the inaugural head coach of the Marietta women’s lacrosse program for seven years. While at Marietta, the Pioneers made two Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) tournament appearances, including a program-best 4th-place finish in 2023. Under Nadrah’s leadership, the Pioneers amassed 11 All-OAC honorees and an OAC Player of the Year in 2023. Prior to her time at Marietta, Nadrah served as the assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Lake Erie College from 2015-2017 and coached various youth and club teams from 2011-2021.  A three-year captain of the Frostburg State women’s lacrosse team, Nadrah was the 2011 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Rookie of the Year as well as a four-time All-CAC selection and four-time CAC All-Academic honoree. Lynda McCandlish

Assistant Coach

McCandlish will guide the Yeowomen lacrosse team for her fourth season in 2017.   McCandlish, the 2015 NCAC Coach of the Year, has transformed the Yeowomen lacrosse program in her short tenure, leading the team to 29 wins in the last three years (2014-2016).   The McCandlish File - Led the Yeowomen to NCAC Championship game in 2015, finishing runner-up to Denison University. It was Oberlins first NCAC Tournament berth since 2000. - Guided the team to an 11-6 overall record and 4-4 league mark in 2015 with three of the four losses coming by one goal. - Mentored an array of players to IWLCA All-Region honors and produced numerous All-NCAC honorees, including 2015 Defensive Player of the year Alexa LInsalata. - Enters 2017 with a career record of 29-18 (.617 winning percentage) - Eight conference wins over the last two years (2015-16) - Helped the Wildcats of Northwestern University win the NCAA title in 2005 and 2006. She was a part of the winningest class in school history at the time of her graduation with 64 wins over four years. - A native of Upper Arlington, Ohio, McCandlish led her high school alma mater to a state championship in 2008 as the head coach of the Golden Bears. Meghan Nasman

Assistant Coach

Nasman enters her first year as the Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach at Oberlin in Fall of 2025.  A five-year member of the women's lacrosse team at Mercyhurst, Nasman competed at both the Division II and Division I levels as Mercyhurst transitioned to Division I in August 2024. Appearing in 66 games, the Ohio native registered 73 goals, 55 groundballs, 32 caused turnovers, and 92 draw controls over a five-year span.  In 2022, Nasman and the Lakers made an NCAA Tournament appearance after tabbing the fourth seed in the Atlantic Region. In their inaugural Division I season, the team placed fourth in the 2025 Northeast Conference (NEC) standings. A four-time Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar Athlete, Nasman was an NEC Prime Performer and a member of the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association Academic Honor Roll in 2025.  Nasman has worked as a coach for the MAXIM Lacrosse Club since 2025. Prior to her work with MAXIM, Nasman served as a Bay Village Youth Volunteer Lacrosse Coach from 2018 to 2020. At Mercyhurst, Nasman assisted with game day operations from 2023 to 2025.  Nasman graduated with her bachelor's degree in applied forensic science with a concentration in criminalistics and forensic biology in 2024 from Mercyhurst before completing a post-baccalaureate certificate in Exploring the Law.

Mike Petrella

Assistant Coach

Mike Petrella starts his third season as an Assistant Coach on the Oberlin College women's lacrosse coaching staff, after joining the Crimson and Gold in the 2023 season. Previously Petrella spent seven years with John Carroll University Women's Lacrosse program. In the midst of the 2022 season, Petrella assumed the role of interim head coach and promptly led the Blue Streaks on a winning streak. Under Petrella, John Carroll reached the OAC Tournament Championship Game. In the 2023 season John Carroll lost in overtime in the OAC Tournament Semi-Final Game under his direction. Petrella previously served as JCU's Goalkeeper Coach for five seasons before being promoted to full-time assistant coach in Fall 2021. Petrella has coached many successful goalkeepers during his time at John Carroll. Under his watch, Kaleigh Kotula won the 2021 OAC Goalkeeper of the Year award, adding 1st Team All-OAC and 2nd Team IWLCA All-Great Lakes Region honors. He has made many stops along the way during this coaching journey, including: • Defensive Coordinator for the Middle School A and B Solon Attack Youth Lacrosse Club, Solon, OH: 2010-mid 2016 • Solon Attack Youth Lacrosse Club Program Goalie Coach: 2010-2016 • Chagrin Falls Girls Lacrosse Goalie Coach: 2015-2019 • Chagrin Falls Girls Junior Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach: 2019 Petrella is the owner of BMAALGI (Big Mike's All-American Goalie Institute), which trains and develops over 130 lacrosse goalies ranging from 4th grade to college players. Petrella teaches drills and techniques to work on the physical aspect of the game but also works on the mental aspect of goalkeeping. He is a 1984 graduate from Miami (OH) University with his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics. In 1986, Petrella graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Masters in Operations Research. Petrella played lacrosse while he was at Miami, starting at goalie from 1981-84, and played on the CWRU club team from 1984-86.
