Jasmine Brown
Head Coach
Jasmine Brown enters her second season as the head volleyball coach at Oberlin College in 2025-26 after being named the head volleyball coach in March of 2024. During her inaugural season with Oberlin, Brown led the Crimson and Gold to a 5-20 overall record and 2-5 in conference play, making an appearance in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Tournament. In her two years with the Crimson and Gold, three athletes landed on the NCAC All-Conference team, while eight athletes were awarded College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors and eight athletes were named to the NCAC Dr. Gordon Collins Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. Brown came to Oberlin after spending the previous four years as the lead assistant coach at Denison University where she helped the Big Red total 42 victories over the program's three full seasons of competition while earning three consecutive berths into the NCAC Tournament and an NCAC regular season championship in 2021. During her three full seasons on the sidelines with Denison, Brown helped mentor two American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Americans, a two-time NCAC Player of the Year, the 2021 NCAC Newcomer of the Year, the 2021 AVCA Region VI Freshman of the Year, the 2022 NCAC Libero of the Year, and 15 total All-NCAC performers. Prior to her time with the Big Red, Brown served as an assistant coach at Millikin University in 2019, helping the Big Blue to land a spot in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Tournament Championship match. She coached four all-conference honorees, which included the CCIW Freshman of the Year. A two-time all-conference selection at NCAA Division II Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, Brown was a part of a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Championships in 2014 and 2016 while also earning Academic All-GLVC honors in 2016 and 2017. She earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Truman State University in 2019 and completed a master's degree in education with a coaching concentration from Greenville University in 2021. Katie Stansbury
Assistant Coach
Katie is entering her second year as the assistant coach at Oberlin College. She works mostly with defense and serve receive as well as with the pin hitters. Before Oberlin, she was the JV head coach and assistant varsity coach at Padua Franciscan High School. She also coaches club volleyball at Cleveland Volleyball Company (CVC) and has worked with the 14s and 18s age groups. Katie was a 4 year started at division 1 Colgate University as an outside and libero.

Paola Maradei Mejia Cavalier
Assistant Coach
Paola Maradei Meijia is in her first season with the Oberlin volleyball team during the 2025-26 year. Prior to joining Oberlin, Maradei Mejia was a graduate assistant coach for West Virginia State University's Division II program. While Maradei Mejia was on their coaching staff in 2023 and 2024, the Yellow Jackets earned two regular-season Mountain East Conference (MEC) titles and reached the finals of the conference tournament twice. The team fell one step short of a postseason conference title in 2023, but avenged the loss in 2024 to become MEC champions for the first time in program history. A former NCAA Division I student-athlete at Norfolk State University, Maradei Mejia ranked eighth and sixth in blocks per set in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference in her junior and senior years, respectively. The Brazil native was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in all four semesters at Norfolk State. Prior to Norfolk, Maradei Mejia spent two successful academic and athletic years at Trinidad State Junior College. Maradei Mejia graduated with her bachelor's degree from Norfolk State in 2022 before completing her master's degree in sport studies from West Virginia State in 2025.
