Olivet Nazarene University Women's Golf

Johnson brings with him more than 20 years of competitive playing experience, and seven years of coaching and teaching the game. With a strong background of relationships in professional golf and the golf community, Johnson is excited about the future of golf at ONU. "Our goal is to attract women who want to play golf competitively at a university that encourages high performance, on the course and in the classroom. I have a strong belief in what Olivet Nazarene University and our golf program stands for. That combination of competitive spirit and high values will enable us to achieve our goal of being a consistent top 20 NAIA program." I would like to help each individual to improve their game through practice, encouragement, self-discipline, and the enjoyment of the game of golf with a Christ-centered attitude.  Each player's improvement and growth will lead to a stronger team performance.

Golyshko first found an interest in golf when he moved to the Kankakee area forty years ago and since then has played competitively in local tournaments. His coaching experience began in 1992 with the Mens Golf team at Momence High School and extended for twenty years before his time at Olivet. As an experienced golf coach, Golyshko believes this team has great potential and is excited to witness each players progression this season. Im glad to be able to work with the girls and help them improve their game. Golf mimics life its a small microcosm. You can see what a person is truly like after playing golf with them.
