Stephanie Donegan
Assistant Coach
Donegan is a lifelong resident of Syracuse, NY, who graduated from Corcoran High School in 2003. After high school, she attended Cayuga Community College in Auburn and graduated in 2005. While at Cayuga she earned First Team All American honors and was the Region III Player of the year in 2005. Coach Donegan also led the team to the NJCAA Final 4 in 2004 and 2005. After graduation from Cayuga, Coach Donegan moved on to LeMoyne College where she graduated with a BS in Business Finance in 2008. ,During her three years at LeMoyne, the team won two MAAC Championships in 2006 and 2007, and received its first ever at large bid to the NCAA Division 1 Womens Lacrosse tournament. In 2009, when Onondaga started the womens lacrosse program, Coach Donegan was hired as the assistant coach. The Onondaga Lazers won their first National Championship in their initial season of 2009.,

Tom MacDonald
Assistant Coach
MacDonald is a lifelong resident of Syracuse, NY. He attended Henninger High School and graduated in 1973. After high school he graduated from Hobart College in 1977 with a Bachelor's degree in psychology and then received a Master's degree in education from Syracuse University 1978. While attending Hobart College, MacDonald helped guide the Statesmen to back-to-back titles in 1976-77. MacDonald returned to Henninger High School in 1978 and worked as a social studies teacher and coach. He was instrumental in starting and coaching the Henninger/Nottingham womens lacrosse program from 1996 until 2011. After retiring from the Syracuse City School District in 2011, MacDonald was hired in the fall of 2011 as the head coach at Onondaga Community College. In 2012, under his guidance the Lazers won their second national championship. In three seasons since, Onondaga has earned two wins in the NJCAA National Championship tournament and have gone on to play for a national title in 2014 and 2015. MacDonald owns a 55-11 career record at Onondaga and an .833 winning percentage. MacDonalds wife, Terry, is a professor in the Child and Family Studies and Sports Management programs at Syracuse University. They have two children, Erin and Michael, and one grandson, Dylan.
