Oxford College of Emory University Women's Basketball

Spruell is entering his 5th season on the Oxford College basketball staff.  Spruell graduated from Oxford in 2005 and Emory University in 2007 with a degree in History and Art History.   Coach Spruell  earned his Masters from Georgia State University in 2010 with a degree in Sports Administration. Coach Spruell was a member of the Oxford College basketball team from 2003-2005. He was also part of the 2005 squad that finished 22-10 and earned a Sweet Sixteen berth in the NJCAA. Coach Spruell main responsibilities include skill development and game day management.  He also has a hand in recruiting, game planning, practice management and scouting.

Terry's teams amassed an overall record of 235 wins and 64 losses over 7 seasons. Since coming to the Eagle's program in 2009, he has spearheaded recruiting. The 2011 recruiting class was arguably the best in school history setting records in Total Wins- 44, and Most Wins in a season-23. In addition, Coach Terry assists in practice planning and implementation, player skill development, pre-game preparation, in game statistical analysis, and other special duties in helping to build a winning athletic department. Coach Terry is also an approved Host for our Oxford International Student Organization, and is also sponsoring Oxford Athletes for Christ. Coach Terry, while attending the University of Kentucky, received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He has also remained an active member of the K-Club, which is the varsity lettermen's association. He is married to his wife of nearly 34 years, Terri (Terry) and they have three grown children; Ryan 31, Kyle 30, and Katie 29, plus 5 wonderful grandchildren.
