Head Coach

Renshaw has sustained Park's reputation as a perennial contender in cross country and track and field since the early 1990s. He has coached a total of 62 NAIA Track and Field All-Americans as well as ten NAIA Cross Country All-Americans in his 21 years with the University. Renshaw has led the Park women to back-to-back NAIA cross country national championships as AMC champions, and in 2011, the Park men also made it as a team, winning the Unaffiliated/AMC championship in St. Louis. In the last two NAIA championships, Renshaw coached an All-American, as Daniel Tubei earned the honor in both 2010 and 2011. Renshaw also helped lead Tubei to a pair of national championships, as Tubei won the NAIA marathon in both 2011 and 2012 in Marion, Ind. Renshaw has received dozens of accolades in his time at Park including MCAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year seven times. Renshaw was also named the MCAC Men's Track and Field Coach of the Year for the 2006 season and named the MCAC Women's Track and Field Coach of the year in 2006 and 2007. In the fall of 2008, Renshaw led the Park Women's Cross Country team to its fourth straight appearance in the NAIA Cross Country National Championship race in Kenosha, Wis., and took home 25th place. Renshaw's 2009 Women's Cross Country squad also qualified for the NAIA national meet which took place in Vancouver, Wash. Along the way, the Pirates have broken more than 100 school records in Renshaw's term as head coach. Before coaching at Park, Renshaw coached at Tarkio College where he also directed a winning program. In four years at Tarkio, Renshaw won four consecutive conference titles. Renshaw has coached more than 100 All-Americans. Renshaw is a graduate of Baker University and lives in Platte City, Mo., with his wife Candi. American Midwest Conference 2011 Cross Country Coach of the Year Brian Renshaw enters his 25th season as the head coach of the cross country and track & field programs at Park University, making him the longest tenured head coach currently on staff at Park.
