Eric Lamm
Assistant Coach
Lamm will enter his second season as the assistant coach of the men's golf program during the 2016-17 season. In his first season wtih the program, the Nittany Lions finished in 7th place at the 2016 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship. The team finished in first place at the Albright College Spring Invitational on April 14. They finished off the regular season with a dual victory over Arcadia University on the Nittany Lions home course of Foxchase Golf Club. Lamm played in college for the University of Delaware from 1975-1979 and was a member of the Fightin' Blue Hens 1977 East Coast Championship Team. Following college Lamm enjoyed a very successful 33 year career in the specialty steel industry. He was selected as the country's "Top Salesman of the Year" by Purchasing Magazine in 1981. His idea and subsequent marketing of high strength steels to the golf club industry has led to numerous innovations in the game of golf, allowing golfers to hit the ball farther and straighter. As a former National Sales Manager, Lamm enjoys mentoring, teamwork and developing talent. Rick Bausher
Assistant Coach
Bausher will enter his second season as the head coach of the men's golf program during the 2016-17 season. During Bausher's first year at the helm of the golf program, the Nittany Lions finished in 7th place at the 2016 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship. The team finished in first place at the Albright College Spring Invitational on April 14. They finished off the regular season with a dual victory over Arcadia University on the Nittany Lions home course of Foxchase Golf Club. Bausher comes to Penn State Berks after many years of playing and coaching golf at various levels. In his senior year of high school, Bausher was a PIAA District 3 runner-up and placed 13th at States. He was then captain of the golf team at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. While playing at IUP, Bausher was an NCAA Division II All-American Honorable Mention. Following college, Bausher enjoyed a successful 36-year coaching career of the Governor Mifflin girl's basketball team. He was a seven time Berks County Girls Basketball Coach of the Year and his 453 wins rank second all time in Berks County. Bausher was inducted into the Governor Mifflin Sports Hall of Fame in 2012 and then the Berks County Chapter of the PA Sports Hall of Fame in 2013. Bausher graduated from IUP with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and earned his master's in Elementary Administration from Lehigh University.
