Pennsylvania College Of Technology Men's Baseball

Marks was named Penn College's head baseball coach in July of 2026.  Marks spent the 2026 season as an assistant coach at Penn State Abington and helped guide the Nittany Lions to a 32-13 record and a United East playoff berth. Prior to last season, Marks was the head coach from 2022-25 at Cairn University, where he compiled a 101-70 record and led the Highlanders to the postseason each year. He was named the 2024 United East Skye Division Coach of the Year and mentored 24 all-conference selections, including the Player of the Year and the Rookie of the Year, and five all-region selections. "I am excited for the opportunity to be the next head coach at Penn College," Marks said. "The program has a great deal of talent returning, and a rich history of success, and I'm thrilled to take the reins and lead this program." Marks was a four-year member of the Cairn baseball team as a catcher and earned both his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from Cairn. After graduation, he spent three seasons as an assistant coach for the Highlanders. A native of Cooper City, Fla., Marks also has prior playing and coaching experience with the Miami Marlins Foundation's RBI program.

Catherine has been the assistant coach for Wildcat baseball.  Prior to Penn College, Catherine was a volunteer assistant for the varsity baseball team at South Williamsport Jr./Sr. High School.  He helped the team finish second in District IV AA earning a berth into the PIAA state playoffs. An alum of South Williamsport, Catherine was a multi-sport athlete earning letters in football, basketball, wrestling and baseball.  In addition, he was part of the 2007 District 12 Big League team that won a state title and went to regionals.   Catherine graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2011 with degrees in Mass Media Arts & Journalism and Communications Studies.    While there, he worked in the institutions athletic department and TV and radio stations.  In his final semester, he interned in the sports information department.   Outside of Penn College, Catherine is a radio personality for ESPN Radio Williamsport.  He resides in Armstrong Township.  

Laurence returned to his alma mater in 2022 after years of coaching at nearby Milton Area School District. During his time as a player for Penn College, from 2014-16, Laurence became the first player in the NCAA Era to earn all-conference accolades, landing on the NEAC Third Team after averaging 18.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game during his senior season. Laurence spent time playing semi-professional for the Oakland County Cowboys (ABA) and Baloncesto Naron (Spanish Liga EBA).
