Head Coach

Tyler, a 2007 graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University, earned her bachelors degree in biology. Also a four-year letterman for the softball program, she owns the career and single-season home run record (23) for TNU. She helped her team to its first two NAIA National Tournament appearances (2006, 2007) where it finished number five in the nation both years.    As a prolific power hitter, she earned NAIA All-Region First-Team and NFCSA All-Region First-Team (2006, 2007), TranSouth All-Conference First-Team (2006, 2007), NFCA and NAIA First-Team All-American (2007). For her impact on the diamond, Tyler was inducted into the Trevecca Nazarene University Hall of Fame as a student-athlete in 2012.   Tyler is married to John Tyler, Point Universitys head baseball coach. Warren begins her sixth season as assistant coach for the Point softball program in 2017.  Before Point, Warren served as head softball coach and life science teacher at her high school alma mater, Boyd-Buchanan in Chattanooga, Tenn. During this time she also worked as a pitching instructor at Fury Fastpitch Academy.   A 2009 graduate of the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga with a bachelors in middle grades math and science education, Warren recorded a successful playing career at Lee University and Chattanooga State.   Pitching for Lee, she guided the Flames to a Southern States Conference Championship in 2007 and a runner-up finish in 2008. Her teams finished top-10 in the nation both years, posting a 75-30 overall record. Warrens performance in the circle helped her be recognized for many conference awards while with the Flames.   Warren began her career with Chattanooga State where she was a part of a 100-23 record through two years in the program. While at CSCC, her team was ranked in the top-10 nationally. Her play vaulted the Tigers to conference and regional championships, while finishing No. 3 and No. 6 in the National Tournament. She finished up both years as an Academic All-American selection.
