Jason Killday
Head Coach
Jason Killday enters his third season as head football coach at Quincy University in 2026. In his second season at the helm, Killday guided the Hawks to a 6–5 overall record and a 4–4 mark in GLVC play. Killday returned to Quincy after spending eight seasons at Truman State University, where he served as offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach, and recruiting coordinator. Prior to his time in Kirksville, Killday spent six seasons with the Hawks as assistant head coach, quarterbacks coach, and recruiting coordinator. While at Truman State, Killday oversaw all aspects of the Bulldogs’ offense, including game planning, practice organization, and play calling. Under his leadership, the program averaged 29.8 points and 356.5 yards per game across eight seasons. He played a key role in the Bulldogs’ success, helping lead the program to a GLVC Championship in 2016 and victories in the America’s Crossroads Bowl in 2019, 2021, and 2022. During that stretch, Truman State also recorded four consecutive nine-win seasons for the first time in program history. Killday was instrumental in implementing a high-powered offensive system that significantly elevated production, increasing scoring from 17.5 points per game in 2015 to 27.6 in 2016. Under his direction, the Bulldogs averaged more than 30 points per game for four straight seasons, another program first. In his first two seasons leading the Hawks, Killday has established one of the most disciplined programs in NCAA Division II. During the 2024 season, Quincy led the nation in fewest penalties and fewest penalty yards, while also ranking second in penalties per game and fifth in penalty yards per game. The trend continued in 2025, as the Hawks led the GLVC in fewest penalty yards per game and total penalty yards, while ranking second in the conference in both penalties and penalties per game, with all four categories ranking among the top 25 nationally. Killday’s impact has also been reflected in individual success, as he has coached 22 All-Conference selections, one All-American, and two GLVC major award winners. In 2025, the Hawks produced both the GLVC Defensive Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year, marking just the second time in program history that Quincy has earned each of those honors. Before his initial stint at Quincy, Killday coached at three Illinois high schools. He was part of two undefeated seasons and two IHSA Class 5A State Championships at Sacred Heart-Griffin High School in Springfield, Illinois. As a player, Killday was a two-year starting quarterback at Illinois College. He earned his bachelor’s degree in education from Illinois College and later completed his K–12 physical education teaching certification at MacMurray College. Year Record Notes 2024 6-4 (5-3 GLVC) 2025 6-5 (4-4 GLVC)

Tyler Wilson
Coach
Tyler Wilson enters his sixth season on the Quincy University football staff in 2026 and his second season as the Hawks’ linebackers coach. Wilson has played a key role in the development of Quincy’s defense across multiple position groups, contributing to the growth of several All-GLVC performers. Over his tenure, he has coached both defensive backs and linebackers, helping elevate the Hawks’ defensive production and consistency. Wilson began his time at Quincy in 2021 as a defensive graduate assistant and cornerbacks coach, where he helped mentor a GLVC Second Team All-Conference selection. He transitioned to working with the linebackers in 2022, guiding three players to All-GLVC honors. Elevated to defensive backs coach in 2023, Wilson continued to produce at a high level, coaching two All-GLVC defensive backs while leading a unit that topped the conference with 18 interceptions and ranked eighth nationally at the NCAA Division II level. He followed that performance in 2024 with two additional All-GLVC honorees in the secondary. In 2025, Wilson returned to working with the linebackers, where he coached two All-GLVC selections. Under his guidance, Brock Wiley ranked second in the GLVC in tackles and among the top 20 nationally, while Brock Inman finished fourth in the conference in tackles. In between his stints in Quincy, Wilson served as a defensive backs coach at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania, where he contributed to improvements in both rushing and passing defensive metrics for the Gators.

Kade Warner
Coach
Kade Warner is in his second season on the Quincy University coaching staff, where he serves as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Warner began his collegiate playing career as a wide receiver at University of Nebraska–Lincoln (2017–2020) before transferring to Kansas State University, where he competed from 2021–22. Following his collegiate career, Warner signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in May 2023 and remained with the organization through fall camp. After his release, he transitioned into coaching, serving as offensive coordinator at Maricopa Community College in Phoenix, Arizona, from 2023–24. During the spring of 2024, Warner returned to the field professionally, suiting up for the San Antonio Brahmas of the United Football League. His experience across collegiate, professional, and coaching levels provides a unique perspective to the Hawks’ offensive unit. In his first season at Quincy, Warner made an immediate impact on the Hawks’ offense. He helped guide quarterback Bradyn Little to GLVC Freshman of the Year honors, just the second player in program history to receive the award. As a unit, Quincy averaged 318.9 yards of total offense per game, including 227.3 passing yards per contest. The Hawks posted a .651 completion percentage, ranking third in the GLVC and 17th nationally at the NCAA Division II level, while also throwing just six interceptions on the season—good for a top-20 ranking nationally. Quincy’s offense also produced four GLVC All-Conference honorees during Warner’s first season.
