Head Coach
Coach Ryan Rinsky enters his eighth season at the helm of the Roadrunner baseball team. The 2025 squad posted a record of 28-16 overall and earned the program’s 15th appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Ramapo entered the season ranked #23 in the D3baseball.com/NCBWA Preseason Top 25 and received votes in four more polls while they also received votes in five of the ABCA Coaches poll throughout the season. Jack Martin was named ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region IV Second Team along with D3baseball.com All-Region IV Second Team. Nick Danbrowney was named ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region IV Second Team along with D3baseball.com All-Region IV Third Team while Dominic Ciani and James Pazdera were named D3baseball.com All-Region IV Second Team. The 2024 Roadrunners to the program’s third NJAC Championship with a 4-0 run in the tournament. Ramapo defeated NJAC rival Rowan 9-7 in the Championship game. With the win they earned the program’s 14th appearance in the NCAA Tournament with the NJAC’s automatic bid. During the 2023 season the team earned a 21-17 overall record while during the 2022 season the program earned their seventh straight NJAC Tournament appearance and 19th in program history. The 2021 team earned their sixth straight NJAC Tournament appearance and 18th appearance in program history as they finished 13-10 overall and 11-7 in the NJAC. The 2019 baseball team posted a 26-14 overall record, 13-5 in the NJAC as they earned the #3 seed in the NJAC Tournament. Highlighting the team’s post-season awards was Kevin Stewart who named D3baseball.com First Team All-Region, NJAC Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-Conference. Five other Roadrunners also earned multiple post-season honors. A four-year (2013-2016) standout for the Roadrunners behind the plate, Rinsky helped lead Ramapo to 119 wins including a 2015 NCAA New England Regional Championship and a 2016 NJAC Championship. The Roadrunners also advanced to the 2015 NCAA Division III World Series and recorded three 30+ win seasons. They also made three appearances in the NCAA Tournament during his time as a Roadrunner. Behind the plate he threw out 66 runners attempting to steal and posted 815 career putouts and 143 career assists. Coach Rinsky, who was named to the NCAA New England All-Tournament Team, signed a professional baseball contract with the Florence Freedom of the Frontier League in 2017 and played three seasons with the club. In 124 games, he collected 53 hits including five doubles, one triple and one home run while he recorded 32 RBI and 31 runs scored. 2026 Season

Joe Maugeri
Associate Head Coach
Associate Head Coach Joe Maugeri enters his fifth season with the Roadrunners. Coach Maugeri played two seasons as a Roadrunner (2017 & 2018) where they earned two NJAC Tournament appearances and one NCAA appearance. Maugeri helped the Roadrunners to 61 overall wins and 28 NJAC conference wins while they reached the NJAC Championship game in 2017 and 2018. In 2018, Ramapo earned a NCAA at-large bid and finished third overall at the NCAA New England Regional. As a Roadrunner Coach Maugeri collected 129 hits in two seasons of action along with 14 doubles, ten triples and one home run. He drove in 49 RBI and scored 77 runs. Coach Maugeri holds the single season triples record with nine (2018). He posted a career average of .351 in 92 games played as a Roadrunner. His 62 (2017) hits are 12th on the program’s single season list while his 10 career triples are fourth on the career list. In his two seasons at County College of Morris he was named All-Region 19 First Team, 2x All-GSAC First Team, CCM Male Athlete of the Year, CCM Male Scholar Athlete of the Year, and CCM Freshman Male Athlete of the Year. Prior to returning to Ramapo, Coach Maugeri spent the 2019-2021 seasons as an assistant coach at County College of Morris where he was responsible for working with the outfielders and hitters, assisting with the programs recruiting and fundraising efforts, while also being in charge of the offseason strength and conditioning program. Additionally, he serves as Director of HS Programs for the NJ Rising Rebels, a club baseball organization based in Morristown, NJ, where he’s coached since 2019. 2026 Season

Walker Larson

Coach Walker Larson returns for his 10th season at the helm of the Roadrunner pitching staff. The 2025 team posted a record of 28-16 overall and 10-8 in league play where they made an appearance in the NJAC Tournament. They earned an appearance for the second straight year in the NCAA Tournament, earning a NCAA at-large bid. During the NCAA Tournament, senior pitcher Nick Danbrowney recorded his 225 strikeout to set the program's new career strikeout record. The 2024 squad won the program’s third NJAC Tournament Title as they swept through with four straight wins. The Roadrunners finished with a 17-24-1 overall record and 6-12 in the NJAC. They earned the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament and finished the season with a 29-16 overall record (11-7 NJAC). The 2023 team finished 21-17 overall and 8-10 in the NJAC while the 2022 team qualified for the NJAC Tournament for the seventh straight season and 19th appearance in program history. The 2021 team earned their sixth straight NJAC Tournament appearance and 18th appearance in program history. Ramapo finished with a 13-10 overall and 11-7 in the NJAC. The Roadrunner pitching staff recorded 165 strikeouts over 206.1 innings pitched while they held their opponents to .265 batting average. The 2019 team posted a 26-14 overall record, and 13-5 record in the NJAC as they earned the #3 seed in the NJAC Tournament. The pitching staff posted a 3.64 ERA on the season with 337 strikeouts as a staff. 2019 NJAC Pitcher of the Year, Kevin Stewart led the Roadrunners on the mound with 65 strikeouts in 52.1 innings pitched. He also boasted an ERA of 3.10 with a 5-1 win-loss record in nine starts. During the 2018 season, Larson helped guide the pitching staff to the 10th best ERA in NCAA Division III, 3.12. The Roadrunners advanced to the NJAC Championship game and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament where they fell in the regional semi-final to #1 University of Massachusetts-Boston. They posted an overall record of 35-15, which tied the single season record for wins. Larson, a Ramapo College Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee, was a four-year standout for the Roadrunners from 2012-2015 as the program earned three at-large bids to the NCAA Tournament (2015, 2013, 2012), won the 2015 NCAA New England Regional and advanced to the 2015 NCAA Division III World Series. The Roadrunners recorded 119 wins, including three seasons with 30 or more. Following his senior season, Coach Larson was named NJAC Pitcher of the Year, ABCA Mid-Atlantic Pitcher of the Year, ABCA and D3baseball.com Third Team All-American. He finished his career with a 2.85 ERA and a 19-9 win/loss record. Larson recorded 51 appearances, 31 games started and 13 complete games. He struck out 190 over 246 innings pitched along with four career saves. During his career he was also named ECAC All-Star First Team, NAJC Co-Pitcher of the Year, two-time NJAC First Team All-Conference and NJCBA First Team All-State. He is the only Roadrunner in program history to be named NJAC Pitcher of the year two times. He finished fourth in both career strikeouts (190) and career innings pitched (246). Tied for fourth in career wins (19) and career appearances (51), tied for second in career complete games (13). He holds the record for single season innings pitched with 119.2 for the 2015 season while he is fourth on the single season strikeout list with 96 in the same year. He is also tied for the most complete games in a single season with nine in 2015. Prior to joining the Ramapo coaching staff for the 2017 season Coach Larson was the varsity pitching coach at West Morris Central High School where the team finished with a 2.82 ERA. Coach Larson is a math teacher at Mahwah High School. 2026 Season
