Ramapo College Women's Lacrosse

Nicole Barbella enters her fourth season as the head coach of the Ramapo College women’s lacrosse team. Coach Barbella earned her first collegiate coaching victory during the 2022 season in a 19-3 win at home over Centenary University. The Roadrunners also earned a NJAC conference win over visiting Rutgers-Camden University in a thrilling 13-12 victory in overtime.Following the 2023 season, Colleen Mason and Kelly Griffin each earned NJAC Honorable Mention All-Conference for their efforts on the field. The 2025 squad, who finished 5-8 overall, earned the most victories in a season since 2019 where the team finished with seven wins on the year. Coach Barbella joined the Roadrunner coaching staff in 2022 after a successful playing career at NCAA Division II Georgian Court University where she posted career marks of 73 goals, 184 assists and 257 points. During her senior season she led all of NCAA Division II with 90 total assists (4.74 per game), that mark is a Georgian Court and CACC Conference single season record. The Lions won three straight CACC Regular Season Championships and the CACC Tournament Championships from 2017-2018-2019. Barbella was named CACC All-Tournament Team selection three times while being 2019 All-CACC First Team All-Conference. She holds the career assist record (184) and the CACC season points record holder with 117 points. Barbella was named to the 2019 IWLCA All-Atlantic Region Second Team. While at Georgian Court, Barbella was a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) along with a Student-Athlete Mentor. She earned Dean’s List (2015-2019) along with the CACC Academic All-Conference Team (2017-2019), IWLCA Academic Honors (2017-2018) and Division II Athletic Directors Association (2017-2018). Barbella was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Freshman Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma Student-Athlete Honor Society and Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society. 2026 Season

Kelly Booth enters his first season with the Roadrunner women’s lacrosse program for the 2026 season. Coach Booth spent four seasons as the assistant coach at NCAA DII Dominican University (NY). He helped guide the Chargers to 66 overall wins (66-12) in four seasons while they captured three straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships. With their conference title win in 2025 the Chargers also earned their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament. He also mentored the CACC Goalie of the Year. Coach Booth founded the boy’s lacrosse program at Red Bank Catholic, building it from the ground up with a focus on culture, commitment and character. He also serves as a dedicated goalie coach at Center Court Lacrosse, where he works closely with developing athletes to refine technical skills.  He also volunteers his time with local lacrosse programs, including Red Bank Regional High School boys lacrosse, continuing his mission to grow the game and mentor young players. 2026 Season
