In addition to a strong showing on the court, Satkowski's student-athletes were successful in the classroom, as four members of the team - Harris, Uyeno, Anthony Kim, and Andre Vorbrodt - earned All-Academic honors. Two seasons ago, the Engineers posted a 16-4 record overall, and advanced to the Liberty League semifinals for the second straight season, defeating RIT, 5-1, before falling in a close match to Vassar, 5-4. The spring season saw seven 9-0 sweeps by RPI, including three straight wins over Liberty League opponents to end the regular season. At the conclusion of the season, Jarrett Regier and Brandon Mazzara were both named All-Liberty League in both singles and doubles competition. Regier was a unanimous selection after going 10-4 in first flight action, this season. His season was highlighted by a pair of four-match winning streaks, including one to start off the 2013 portion of the Engineers' schedule. Mazzara was 13-7 in singles competition while playing primarily out of the second spot (10-5). He was 3-2 at first singles, while going 17-3 in doubles play. In 2011-12, Satkowski guided his squad to a 9-9 overall record.  The Engineers had a strong showing at the Liberty League Championships, eventually falling in the semifinals.  RPI was paced all season by sophomore Jarrett Regier, who was an All-League selection at singles and at doubles with partner, Brandon Mazzara. Additionally, three student-athletes were named to the league's All-Academic Team.
