Rob Dewar
Head Coach
Dewar performed a similar feat when he mentored the Aggie womens 4x100 team to its first All-American status, placing 9th and running a school record of 46.67. Other Dewar protégés before his tenure at Sacramento City College, includes Sarah Chan, who took seventh at NCAA nationals for an All-American in the triple jump, 40-3, 2002; Jamal Bush National Champion in the mens triple jump, 52-8, 1994 and Josh Flexman, who garnered CCAA Freshman of the Year honors in 2001 and All-American status. A native of Pasadena, California, Coach Dewar graduated from Alta Loma High School. Where he was an All-Conference prep sprinter in the 100, 200, 400, 4x100, and 4x400 meters and set school records in the 100, 200. He was Alta Lomas most valuable track athlete in each of his four years and also competed in football as a wide receiver and free safety. He spent his first two collegiate seasons at Mount San Antonio College (Mt. Sac) in Walnut, California, before transferring to California State University, Stanislaus. He earned NCAA All-American recognition at CSU-Stanislaus placing second in the 4x100 relay before receiving his bachelors degree in physical education in 1990. Dewar has an Associate of Arts degree from Mount San Antonio College, a Bachelors degree in Physical Education, minor in Recreation from CSU-Stanislaus and a Masters degree in Organizational-Administrative Management from University of Phoenix in Sacramento. He also was the competition support crew chief for the 2000 and 2004 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials and the 2005, 2006 and 2007 NCAA Division I National Track and Field Championships. He has been the Big 8 Track and Field/Cross Country Conference Chair since 2008 and presently the President of the California Community College Cross Country Coaches Association and the Nor Cal Chair for Rules Committee. Coach Rob is single and resides in North Woodland with his Relay Team of four sons: Ryland David (13), Trenton Robert (11), Alexander John (8), Colton Jeffery (6), Coach Rob also has a daughter Kylei (18) who attends Cuesta College and plays volleyball for the Cougars.

Marisa Avendano
Assistant Coach
Avendano is also the Head Women's Cross Country Coach. Avendano brings an abundance of cross-country and track and field experience to the Sacramento City College program. A graduate of Paramount High School in Los Angeles, Avendano was a CIF Champion in the 1600m and runner-up in the 3200m, recording personal bests of 5:01 and 11:08 respectfully. Coach Avendano won numerous conference titles in both cross-country and in track while attending California State University, Los Angeles. She also did the same after she transferred to California State University, Sacramento. Avendano is a 9-Time All-American in cross-country and in track. She was the first athlete in CSU-Sacramento history to earn Division I All-American honors. Coach Avendano received her bachelors degree in Accounting from CSU-Sacramento in 1998 and received her Master of Science Degree in Kinesiology in 2001 from CSU-Sacramento. She is married and resides in Sacramento.

Lisa Bauduin
Coach
Bauduin was named head womens track & field coach for Sacramento City College in 1992 and since that time she has produced one of the strongest womens track & field programs in the state and the most successful program in school history. Taking only two years to win her first Northern California Championship, the upward progression continued to the ultimate prize: Winning the state championship! Not only achieving it in 2003, but adding state titles to the 2004 and 2005 team accomplishments as well. In nineteen years there have been over 240 All-Conference performers, over 120 state meet qualifiers, and 19 individual state champions. In addition, 141 entries have cracked the schools All-Time Top-Ten list, including 21 school record performances Bauduin has been recognized on the national and international level as well. She has been selected by USA Track and Field to the coaching staffs of the 1993 US Olympic Festival; 1995 USA vs. Great Britain Meet, the 2001 World Indoor Track & Field Championships and in March 2006 was the jumps/multi coach for Team USA at the World Indoor Championships in Moscow, Russia. Not just known for coaching mastery, her strong organizational skills in meet management led to her being named the competition director for the USA Olympic Track and Field trials for 2004. She is only the second woman to be placed in that role and the only community college coach ever appointed. She has also assisted in management capacities for the 2000 Olympic Track and Field trials and the 2003 NCAA Track and Field Championships. During the years 2000-2005, she was the associate athletic director at Sacramento City College, overseeing eligibility and operations of 18 sport programs. Bauduin participated in basketball and track and field at Division 2 powerhouse North Dakota State University graduating in 1982 with a BS in physical education. While working on her graduate studies at NDSU, she had the opportunity to join UC- Berkeleys womens coaching staff which moved her to the west coast. After her stint at UC-Berkeley she moved across the bay to San Francisco State University where she coached nine All Americans with the mens and womens programs. A well respected and sought out speaker at clinics throughout the country, Bauduin has a USATF Level 2 certification in the sprints and hurdles. She was a mentor/coach to former Triple Jump American Record Holder Sheila Hudson from 1998-2000. Bauduin was also selected as the state coach-of-the-year for the 2003, 2004 and 2005 seasons. She is currently the past president of the US Womens Track Coaches Association and was honored in 2004 by the USATF Womens Track and Field committee with a special recognition for her contributions to track and field.
