Sacramento City College Women's Golf

Thomas as their new Womens Golf Coach.  Michael is already a member of the Los Rios Community College District as he has been the American River College Women's Golf Coach and is currently the Men's Golf Coach at American River.  Michael will continue in his role as the Men's Golf Coach at ARC, since the Panthers do not have a mens team.  When asked how it feels to be named as the new SCC Womens Golf Coach, Thomas said, Its an honor and privilege.  Coach Thomas attended Sac City in 1998-99, before transferring to CSU, Sacramento to earn his Bachelor (2002) and Masters Degree (2004) in Recreational Administration. Michael brings with him a wealth of experience, having taught and coached golf in the Sacramento area for almost 20 years.  Thomas said, I look forward to continuing the traditions of excellence at Sac City and what Coach Kiernan has instilled in the womens golf program.  One of my highest priorities is to continue fostering a comprehensive golf program; one that develops and allows athletes to transfer to 4-year golf programs.
