Andy Lausier
Head Coach
Lausier is in his fourth season as head coach of the Sacred Heart wrestling program. Under his guidance, the Pioneers had their second wrestler in program history place at the 2015 EIWA Championships when Conan Schuster took sixth place in the 174-pound weight class. Before coming to Sacred Heart, Lausier served as the Head Assistant Coach at Princeton University for four seasons starting in 2007, where he was a vital part of rebuilding the Tigers. His resume also includes a four-year stretch as the Head Coach at Stevens Tech in which the Ducks made three straight appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Lausier finished his collegiate career at Lycoming College as an All-American with an impressive 121-29 record and three Middle Atlantic Conference titles. Lausier was the first head coach in the history of Stevens Tech as he was responsible for the development of the program from its inception in 2003 to 2007. The Ducks reached the NCAA Tournament in their first three seasons of competition and Lausier was named the Centennial Conference Rookie Coach of the Year. During his time, Stevens Tech boasted a Centennial Conference Wrestler of the Year, a pair of Scholar All-Americans, and reached seventh in the NWCA All-Academic Team rankings. He was inducted into the hall of fame of his alma mater as well as the athletic hall of fame at Culver Military Academy.

Derek Moore
Assistant Coach
Moore is in his third season as the assistant coach for the Sacred Heart wrestling program. He came to Sacred Heart after serving six years of active duty as an officer in the United States Army. He also represented the Army in national and international competitions as a soldier-athlete. As part of the Army world-class athlete program, Moore trained with numerous Olympic Champions and qualified for and competed in the 2012 United States Olympic team trials. In 2007, while wrestling for the University of California, Davis, Moore won the Division I NCAA Championship. He was also named 2007 NCAA Most Outstanding Wrestler on top of being named Pac-10 Conference Wrestler of the Year. The national champion was also named UC Davis Male Athlete of the Year in 2007. Moore graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Biological Chemistry.
