Harold became the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Saint Joseph's College on May 7th, 2013. Harold will serve at the program's 10th head coach in SJC history. Coach Harold sits 19th amongst active coaches with 427 victories and just outside the 49th all time. He also sits 28th among active coaches in Division II winning percentage (.672). Overall Coach Harold holds a 427-208 record with a 36-49 record at SJC. The 2015-16 season was the Pumas' comeback as Harold guided SJC to a 19-11 record, falling just shy of the NCAA Tournament.SJC hosted a First Round GLVC Tournament game for the first time in school history, a 71-59 win over Southern Indiana. A 19 win season was the best season in SJC history since 1994-95 season. The Pumas finished 11-18 in 2014-15 with a 7-11 mark in GLVC play, making an appearance into the GLVC Tournament for the first time since 2011-12. SJC fell 52-49 at Quincy University in the first round. SJC was built on defense as they allowed a slim 62 points per game while forcing 19 turnovers a night. Kalea Parks also received First Team All-GLVC honors as well. On December 19th, 2014 Harold recorded his 400th career victory after a 58-42 thrashing of Malone University at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. Harold turned the Pumas in a positive direction in his first campaign at SJC. The Pumas finished the year 6-20 and remained competitive throughout the season, taking GLVC Tournament hopes into the final weekend. SJC increased offensive production by 13 points and stepped-up defensively holding the opposition to three less points per game than in 2012-13. The Pumas went from being outscored by over 18 points per game in 12-13 to seven points in 2013-14. Jasmyne Reynolds earned All-GLVC Second Team honors as well as Tonisha Sanders being named to the GLVC's Defensive Team. Harold comes to SJC after a successful six seasons at Drury University where his squads compiled a 129-52 record, including an 81-27 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Lady Panthers won two GLVC titles (2008, 2010) in Harlod's tenure while also capturing at least a share of the GLVC West title four times in six years. Drury qualified for the NCAA Tournament in Harold's first five seasons in Springfield, Mo. advancing as far as the Sweet 16 during the 2009-10 season. Prior to his tenure at Drury, Harold had a 262-107 record in 12 seasons at Glenville State College in Glenville, West Virginia. That includes a 33-3 mark - the best mark in school history - and an NCAA-II Elite Eight appearance in 2006-07, where the Lady Pioneers fell to UC San Diego in the quarterfinals to complete their sixth straight NCAA Tournament trip. After the season, Harold was honored as D-II National Coach of the Year. Harold's Lady Pioneers were a combined 63-6 his last two seasons and have posted 20 wins or more eight times, winning West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) championships in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007 to go with three WVIAC tournament titles. In addition to NCAA-II East Region titles won in 2002 and 2007, Harold's Glenville State squad was a regional runner-up in 2003, 2004 and 2006. His '01-02 squad finished 29-4 and reached the D-II national semifinals for the first time in school history. The Lady Pioneers also have finished no worse than No. 14 in the final USA Today/ESPN WBCA NCAA II national poll in five of six seasons, coming in at No. 6 in 2006-07. In addition to claiming the WBCA's national Coach of the Year honor in 2007, Harold has been the East Region Coach of the Year twice and the WVIAC Coach of the Year three times. The Glenville native received his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Business Education in 1987 from Glenville State and his Masters of Science Degree in Physical Education and Health from Radford University in 1990. In his 21 year coaching career, Harold has established a career record of 427-208. Marc Heil
Assistant Coach
Heil was hired as Assistant Womens Basketball Coach at Saint Josephs College in July of 2015. Prior to coming to SJC, Heil served as the Graduate Assistant Coach at Wheeling Jesuit University for the past two seasons. While at WJU, the Cardinals had an overall record of 34-22, including a 19-9 mark during the 2014-2015 season, making it the most wins at WJU in nine years. During the 2011-2012 season, Heil was an assistant coach for the mens basketball team at the Community College of Beaver County. The Titans finished with a 25-6 record while winning the Conference Tournament. Heil previously served as Head JV/Assistant Varsity Coach at New Castle High School in Pennsylvania and as an Under-17 Head Coach with the Western PA Bruins AAU program. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Heil attended Robert Morris University (PA). While at RMU, he served as a team manager for the mens basketball team. The Colonials qualified for the NIT in 2008 and made back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Division I Tournament in 2009 and 2010. Heil received his bachelors degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management with a minor in Sports Management from Robert Morris University (PA) in 2011 and his masters of science in Organizational Leadership from Wheeling Jesuit University in July of 2015.
